The Little Yellow Practice Book (My First Piano Adventure)

Love this set including Lesson and Writing Book...haven't used the flash cards yet. This one the teacher writes in the "homework" and my daughter follows that for practice. When she practices she gets to color in a key. Helpful also when another family member takes her to lessons I am able to see what her homework is and be able to work with her.

We bought this book upon the request of my daughter's piano teacher. The book seems to be very helpful in getting her up to speed. Very useful, indeed.

I am a composer and pianist. I used this journal for one of my younger piano students. Really good journal! There are fun illustrations on every page. I had my studebt color in a key for every day that she practiced. Very handy and organized and also fun. This little journal is very affordable and fits 47 lessons/pages! Also cute little music firefly that you can look for on every page (fun little "find the firefly" for kids).

Use this with all my young students. Room for assignments at the top, and at the bottom is a picture of a keyboard with days of the week. The kids love filling in the keys with coloring or stickers to show which days they practice. I highly recommend this book.

I wrongly assumed that this was a book with practice activities. It is not. It is a book designed for children to mark off that they have practiced. Children can color in a piano key for every day that they play the piano. There is a spot for teachers to write down specifics that should be practiced in a list form. It is nice, if all you want is a practice log book.

Works great for parents to know what a child's homework is.

This handy little book is for writing down homework instructions for your pupil as they progress through book 1 of 'My Very First Piano Adventure'. I didn't buy it until some time after using the practical book which was a big mistake. I didn't realise that each page in the little yellow practice book corresponds to the relevant page in the practical book so now the two are out of sync!! Luckily my pupil isn't that bothered.........she just looks forward to colouring in a piano key each time she practices!!!

This review is for the vendor rather than for this particular practice book. Quick shipping and very responsive customer service. We bought several Piano lesson books along with this practice book. We thought this book has practice/exercises in it, but when we got it we found that it is a notebook to keep track of your own practice. We didn’t find this helpful in our opinion. The seller is very responsive and worked with us nicely. Recommend their lessons books, very nice quality and content.

This book is a great way to list homework and items to work on at home, and track practice. Myself and my students love these.

Was expecting cute little sayings or pictures for beginners.
