Yes, DITRA-HEAT-E-HK heating cables can be installed on the top surface of shower benches. Care must be taken to install the heating cable without damage into the matting and Schluter-KERDI must be installed on top of the DITRA-HEAT installation.

The DITRA-HEAT-E-HK heating cables are specifically designed to integrate with the DITRA-HEAT membrane. The power output is matched to the stud spacing and the cable diameter is such that it is held securely by the studs on the membrane.
