I connected this to an old portable tv instead of the tinny built in speakers ie I disconnected the existing speakers completely and connected this unit to the cables feeding the speakers (black lead not connected). The TV now connects to a portable amplifier with built in speakers and the sound has improved out of all recognition in terms of volume and quality. I did wonder about possibly overloading the TV but after about 14 hours use, the TV has remained fine without overheating. The only aspect to flag is a slight buzz/interference but I can remove this by adjusting the output/volume of the tv upwards and reducing the volume of the amplifier. It’s a bit chunky but that aside, it’s well priced and seems to work well. I haven’t looked inside the unit because I haven’t needed to….it works. Perfect in my situation.

I found this to be a quality device at a good price. I have a SONY GIGAJUKE home music system and wanted to add more power, as the system has great sound and would benefit from larger speakers. I hooked up the SONY speaker leads to this device, and then two RCA leads to a separate power amplifier. The set-up sounds great running Tannoy floor standing speakers with no hint of buzzing or distortion from the device. The black earth lead is not used in a home set-up (I'm going to change the white screw connection terminals to a neater solution in the future)

I recently purchased a subwoofer to enhance my home theater system. My previous amplifier was unable to provide the desired low-frequency response, resulting in a lack of impact and clarity in the audio. The addition of the subwoofer has effectively addressed this issue, delivering the necessary punch and depth without introducing any distortion.

Didn't do the job I wanted it to so it sits in a box unused. I did briefly test it out but wasn't overly impressed so did something else instead.

Great quality and still working as it should 12 months later. This is also made of a good quality and nicely put together unlike some of the plastic ones you can get that are a bit brittle.

This is connected to the 'speakers B' output on a Yamaha hi-fi amplifier using just the left channel. Then an RCA cable runs to my Yamaha Subwoofer which only has an RCA line input. This was required because the amplifier I use doesn't have a subwoofer output. No power is required to this unit, and it works perfectly for this purpose. I notice they mixed up the red and white's as its generally accepted that red is right and white is left, and this unit is the opposite to the input labels. That's no real issue though as long as you're aware - and it works great for my use case.

Good its have ground to remove noises easy to install. Fells good quality for price

L'ho acquistato per mandare il segnale per amplificato all'amplificatore della mia auto. Avendo una sorgente di serie, non esiste l'uscita RCA. Perfetto. Il mio subwoofer lavora che è un piacere ascoltarlo. Ottimo prodotto.

Funktioniert Tadellos seit Wochen. Das massekabel brauchte ich nicht anschließen. Subwoofer spielt prima am original Autoradio.

Il suo lavoro lo fa, ovvero convertire la linea da livello alto a livello basso. Peccato per il fatto che nasca o dei rumori non tanto di fondo ma che variano con il variare dei giri del motore della macchina... Anche collegando alla massa il filo appunto della messa, il problema non si risolve.

Es funktioniert wie es soll, simpel anzuschließen, Was mir noch gefallen würde, wäre ein extra regler, weil die signale doch noch sehr stark ankommen, aber durch das regulieren der lautstärke vom Verstärker kein Problem!
