Excellent Product
This is the best thing I have done to my Telecaster. I had some noise, even at moderate volumes. After shielding, it is absolutely quiet. This peel and stick tape has conductive glue, so you don't have to solder the overlap joints. I overlapped about 1/4" and had a 3 1/2" X 8" piece left over after shielding two humbucking pickups and the control cavity. The tape is petty easy to use, sticks well inside the cavities and is strong( I didn't break or tear any pieces). I will definitely be using this product on my next guitar build. There is probably enough tape to do two telecasters with single coil pickups.

It works great!!
I installed these in my single coil telecaster which had a terrible humming noise, took me about 3 hours to do it with no previous experience whatsoever, I just read on how to do it in the internet, my soldering looks preety bad, like one of an inexperienced technician but it works, now my tele sounds great, the hum is gone. I highly recomend it if you have a humming noise in your guitar.

Great product - slightly too little for a Strat
The material was easy to work with and came as advertised. I just found one package was not quite enough to complete the job for my Strat .. I didn't have enough to cover the rear cavity and had to dig into my second package I had bought for another guitar.Th eproduct itself works well, but you'll need about 1.5 packages to complete a strat.

Good stuff, but...
You really need to double the quantity and charge accordingly. The single order wasn't really enough to do one guitar and I doubt you could do a bass, either. I used the copper under a clear pickguard, which matched the rest of the guitar pretty closely. Then, I finished the pickguard compartment and the jack area with aluminum foil tape from my local hardware store.

Great for shielding ham radio equipment
I used the DiMarzio Copper Shielding Tape to create a shield on my SDRPlay (RSP1) radio, which comes in a plastic case (case dimensions 3.7in x 3.2in x 1.2in). I applied the tape in overlapping strips in such a way that it makes contact with the antenna input connector and the USB output connector. Tested with an ohmmeter and found good continuity between shield and connectors. I was surprised that the adhesive side of the tape is also conductive. Otherwise I would have needed to solder the overlapping strips to ensure continuity. I still have a decent size (3.5in x 9in) piece of the copper tape left over for another project.

for Fender Jazz bass
I lined the pickup cavity of a Fender Jazz bass with this using a methodology I found online to reduce radio and powerline interference in the single coil pickups. The procedure worked perfectly as the instrument is now whisper quiet in even the most congested environments. Great product, highly recommended.

Great stuff
Completely silenced my rig. This stuff is awesome. I lined the pickup cavities, the control cavity and the input jack cavity. I run through a 6534+ with a boss cs-3 and a ts9 and still absolutely silent. Plugged into another guitar and it was so noisy.
