However, you CAN have that IF you install a 110/220V "magnetic" switch; in SERIES with this device. Of course IF you hit the "STOP" switch in this device, and then the power goes off; the motor, will NOT come back on when the power comes back on. **Q: Can you mount this on it side and the paddle stay down?** A: NO. The paddle FLOATS! IF the switch is in the upright position, you can lift the bottom on the paddle up 90 degrees (Straight out).. See the "flat" top of the paddle arms. If you mounted this switch upside down, the paddle will be straight out. **Q: How many poles / throws, and normal-open / normal-closed circuits?** A: This switch is DPST. Both contacts close in the 'on' position and both open in the 'stop' position. There are no other contacts. I like that. *by A***L on December 15, 2025* standard paddle switch. Used to replace an OEM switch on my table saw that shorted. Once these mag switches short, they self-sacrifice so...another $20. At first I didn't care for this one as it required a more positive push to turn on. Now, I kind of like the idea that it takes a more intentional effort to turn on the table saw. The off switch works the same as any other paddle - probably because of the leverage of the paddle.
