I tend to wear shoes with these laces much longer than shoes with traditional laces because of the comfort and form fit they provide. They are easy to put on and take off. My only complaint is that the elasticity seems to wear out at about one year and I find the laces start breaking around that point. If I could get two years out of them, they would be perfect as most of my daily wear shoes don't last that long. I've purchased these for nearly every pair of shoes I own that had laces now.
