I set mine up as regular silks **Q: Are these silks able to Machine Wash & dry?** A: Yes. **Q: is this a silk you could do double foot locks on or is this just the hammock??** A: Not just the hammock. You can do double foot locks. **Q: I see there are silks that are two separate silks and some create a U. Which is better? Can you make the two into a hammock?** A: Single silk pulled half way through the ring then tied so that both ends hang down. After much research I decided on this one. It was extremely easy to install (bracket sold separately). The silk is very long and durable. The material is tough…I even used it and I am 125lbs! We hung it in a room with 8’ ceilings and there is a bunch of slack at the end.
