The cubicles are pretty tiny and can only hold slippers or sandals of women with small feet. However, I bought them for a different purpose. I use them to store some baby clothes/items such as small onesies, hats, mittens, and wash cloths. The cubicles are perfect for this use because the bay items are really tiny and hard to keep in one place. I do not have a drawer, so this became my "drawer boxes" but for the closet. It was hardy enough to hold such baby items without drooping/sagging. It also attached well to the closet rod. I recommend this item to new parents who have a hard time keeping mittens/hats/onesises together, or for those who just want to organize tiny things in a closet because you don't have drawer space.

Love that it has 2 hangers. Makes it feel sturdy. Doesn't swing around in the closet. Other products only had 1 hanger. I like the length for my closet, cuz it allows for room under it for more storage. The material holding it together feels thin though, like it might tear if I'm not careful putting shoes in it, but the material is webbed, so it might easily take more weight. I don't know if I can recommend it for heavier shoes. We'll see. I put flats, sandals and flip flops in it. Sometimes I stuffed 2 pairs of flip flops in one slot, but they were very lightweight. The product met my expectations and pretty much their product description except for the "sturdiness" cuz I'm not yet sure this shoe hanger will except weightier shoes without sagging or tearing. If it turns out that it does do well with more weight, I'll upgrade the rating to 5. Update: It's held up very well. I bought another one. I don't give 5 stars unless the product meets or exceeds its own claims. It exceeded their claims and exceeded my expectations.

I bought this to put odds & ends in the compartments, rather than shoes. Any shoes would have to be on the small side, I believe. I still hung it in my closet, & it works fine for the aforementioned function. It has held up pretty well, too.

This is not an overly large shoe organizer, but it was a perfect solution to a problem that I have. When coming in from the backyard, even with a great door mat and runner, outdoor shoes were a problem. This shoe organizer is perfect btw the shower curtain and the liner. When everyone comes in they can take off their outdoor shoes and change into their indoor slippers. It is not seen. The size of the openings are small, some of the larger tennis shoes take 1 space each. But flip flops and sandles can be doubled up in one space. It is not perfect, I would like longer spaces, but the system is working. No shoes on the floor and no shoe shelve taking up floor space. If you don't like shoes on the floor and don't want to use space for shelves, this is the next best thing. Now, if only the sizes of the slots were longer.

PROS: Sleek, simple construction, and easy to assemble. Collapses for storage, and doesnt take up much space in a closet setting. Can also be used for holding objects aside from shoes! The color is great, and neutral. CONS: -First and foremost, the size dimensions they market only give a DEPTH and a WIDTH. The LENGTH aspect is the kicker: You can only fit 1 shoe in here if it is thicker than a flip-flop or women's flats. I had to use two cells for one pair of shoes. It was a major aspect that I didnt think about when buying this but I made do with it. -The shape of the shoe holder started shifting a certain direction if you place the sole-end of your shoes all on one side. This triggered my OCD but I bit the bullet and had to do a 'mirroring' of sorts when putting the shoes in to ensure the holder stayed straight in the closet. -Forget using this for work boots or 'tall' shoe designs. This is not made for those types of constructions. -I wish the Width was a bit wider to allow for thicker soled shoes. As you can see in my photo example, my brown boots are an ankle boot but are being pressed against the side walls. CONCLUSION: Overall, I like the simplicity and freeing up some floor space in my closet, however the size of the cells is lacking. I would have widened the cell by at least an inch in all coordinates to allow more feasibility for regular size shoes. The construction is sturdy enough, and it was easy enough to assemble.

I have a phobia about my closets. Before we moved to this house, I had three closets and 2 armoirs since as my children moved out, I got more closet space. Needles to say, when we downsized from a 4000 sq.ft. house to 2000 sq. ft. So did my closet space. Most of my wardrobe went to the tornado victims since I retired and didn't need my dress code clothes. Now I only have three smaller closets since my armoirs won't fit here. I got everything organized but I kept moving my shoes around. When I saw these, I figured they were cheap enough, so I got them. They look great and I could put them up all by myself. The first one holds all my shoes and I placed it between my pants and shirts. the second holds all my bras and is between my shirts and sweaters. The third one holds all my gloves and hats and is between my outerwear and robes. (why do husbands buy new robes for Christmas every year) Each one is placed in front of the cheap, white metal brackets that hold up the rods and shelf. The fourth one is waiting for me to decide. I am so pleased.

The shoe rack turned out to be quite flimsy - the "shelves" just had a strip of cardboard of one inch width only in the front. The metal frame that is mentioned is just a wire on the top part. It will sag even under the weight of single slipper in every compartment. The return process and refund was smooth. Satisfied on that count.

No problems putting this up. Only problem is that it's very very slightly too long for the space it's in!
