Dont waste your money. First this product was owned by someone else. After using it for the first time and then viewing the video, someone else was on the clips. Second the product only records in 1 minute intervals. I went through the adjustment settings and set it to record in a continuous loop but it still records in 1 minute intervals. Third the video starts and stops resulting in a choppy recording. Now I know why the previous owner returned it. Owners manual is not very detailed.

I have 4 of these, 2 older ones and 2 newer ones. The older ones, one of them doesn't record audio anymore and just now, which is making me write this review, my wife's front one doesn't work because none of the buttons work to get out of recording mode and when plugging into a computer, the camera shuts off after 1 second, making it impossible to get videos and when inserting the SD card, it freezes and I can't open the folder. So basically, it's a useless plastic piece of crap. Can't use it for literally the ONLY purpose it is intended for. Probably going to go to another company now. I had put in an inquiry about a return, and they set it up for me, but I would have to pay for return shipping and everything, which was almost 20 dollars. Give me free return shipping for problems with the merchandise and I'd consider this a better company. EDIT:. After buying a new 8gb microSD card, the camera works, although it powers off instantly after being unplugged. My other ones usually last 30 minutes or so. Gave it 2 more stars, but still only 3 stars for the product not seeming to last at like new condition.

Bought 2 of these (Pony) and one Cyclops over the last year and they work as listed. I really don't use them at night, but the daytime video is acceptable. I like the Pony over the Cyclops because the suction mount is more flexible. I called them to find the difference between the Pony and Cyclops and it turns out they are the same electrically, but physically the Cyclops is smaller. Some of the new Pony units sold have the mount that is used on the Cyclops and to my opinion is not as good. By the way, if you try to invert or rotate the image (when used on the dash rather hanging down from the windshield) and the ROTATE function doesn't work, call or Email them and they will send you a patch to fix this. I have to say their Tech support is VERY good. Almost no wait, And Email very short time. All correspondence is from California. Living in the NJ area I will soon have a camera in front and back on both cars.

Great little camera! Easy to use, comes ready to go out of the box. Night mode isn't much to brag about but it sees what your headlights see. Really long cord on the charger, once I figured out where I wanted to mount it I cut it down and most people don't notice the cord at all. But it needs to be plugged in to be effective, the full battery only runs for about 10 min on its own.

I bought this 4sk106 on groupon for $28. Anyway the mount broke. Just here looking for a replacement mount.

I had the use of the 4 Sight Original Dash Cam Pony on a recent trip I had to make and it is not what I had expected. It does not take very good night time recordings. They are too dark that you can't see anything let alone recording an accident as it is to record either during the day or night. Now I spoke with the company who made the Pony which is 4 Sight and they told me that they know of the problem but yet there is no way to fix it. I would not nor will I ever recommend anyone purchasing such a cam because they would be wasting their hard earned money just as I did. I thought of filing a complaint with a certain party to see what steps they could take to either get a full refund or a better dash cam if 4 Sight if they have such a thing which I doubt very much. I did purchase it from WESTOCKTOOLS through Amazon but it is not either of their faults. They probably don't even know that there is a problem with the 4 Sight Pony. So I say Buyer Beware of what you are getting! There must be better cams and companies out there that sell a better product.

The suction cup gives up over time and the camera keeps saying "battery low" and shuts off. The lighter adapter is cheap and has fallen apart a few times.

Was priced right shipped fast and we are very pleased with this product we have another we just need a new suction arm for it we have had over 7 years an it still works.
