Our friends have owned this bar and recommended it to us. Both my wife and kids are enjoying it and compete on it.I am most satisfied with the extra gift resistance band which we did not have to buy separately and saved some money. Thanks to this band the number of possible exercises is almost unlimited.The bar is definitely made of high quality heavy duty materials and the installation structure seems solid, safe and easy. The grip pads are sturdy and comfy.We're very pleased with our purchase and don't hesitate to recommend it.

Bought this for my wife as she wanted one. She found it easy to put together and uses it almost every day(so she claims). The bar easily supports her weight and even my more "bulky" frame. For the price it's good value and seems to be a sturdy bit of kit well worth giving it a go it also comes with resistance bands

It works bridging my corridor (between facing wooden door frames) which gives me much more space to swing into it rather than a doorframe which it was initially intended for. At stretch it moves a bit but I feel it is strong and the holds screwed into the doorframes haven't budged at all so I'm not afraid of it falling.

Needed a bar to span a 80+cm gap and decided on this as I wanted one that did not need screws/permanent attachments. I know it has this, but since my previous one only had rubber grips, I decided on getting this as it was similar. I weight a good 90kg and it handles my weight very well, albeit a slight distortion can be seen (not exactly horizontal)... but no issues with that, but did take a star off for sturdiness. All in all, very pleased as it is easy to install (tighten by twisting) and does the job. Solid and very pleased.

Reviewed quite a few pull up bars, always came back to this one. For the money its very good. easy to mount and dismount in door frame. I used the chrome bar holder screwed to the door frame as its highly recommend you do for pull ups. Looks tidy once up and im keeping it up all the time. Can quickly take it down to move lower down the door frame for different exercises. Well made, sturdy and can take my weight easily (105kg).

Bought this as my old chin up did not have a sponge grip and was causing my joints in my hands to ache. This was a bit shorter than old chin up bar so I had to cut some wood to fill in the void. If mounting on door frame, the bar itself is more than enough, I would recommending using the permanent mounts where possible. If you find the joints in the bar feel loose, just twist the whole bar from the sponge to tighter, in my case anti clockwise from front label. As this has a sponge grip, my joints no longer ache and I can do more chin ups. I would recommended this chin up bar for its quality and price.

Bought this for my son, looks good, comfortable hand grips. Was very easy to install, very study, and also very strong.He has been using it daily and I’ve also got into it too. I weigh a little under 14 stones and holds my weight perfectly fine.Would definitely recommend.

This product is very sturdy when correctly placed and tightened, it is however difficult to sometimes get it level than it would be to one that hangs from your door frame.The extras it comes with are helpful and useful (the resistance band). The product also comes with a list of exercises that can be performed with the item.Overall this product is perfect for a permanent use with ability to screw it in. The difference between this and one that hangs over your door frame will just be personal preference.
