Made In Nature Organic Deglet Noor Dates, 40-Ounce (Pack of 1)

I love these. This is my 3rd bag. I do transfer them to a glass jar, otherwise they dry out before I can use them all.

The Deglet Noor variety of dates is, in my opinion, a much better date than Medjool variety. The DN is firmer and has a better flavor. The more common Medjool date tends to have a mushy texture and is not as sweet. I much prefer the DN's drier texture., although I'm sure not everyone agrees. The dates in this bag are somewhat sticky when you open it. This can be quickly remedied by placing a couple of handfuls on a paper plate and leave them exposed to room temperature air for day or so. Better yet, place them by a window that gets sunlight. This eliminates the stickiness and firms them up a bit more. I will definitely be buying more.

Clean and pit free. Not as tender as medjool dates, but offer similar health benefits.

These are really good quality dates. if they’re not dried out. So far I had two packages with over dried fruit. Otherwise they’re delicious and worth the price.

Let me just say this. I’ve been on lots of dates. And this was, hands down, the best date I’ve ever had.

I initially bought this product at Costco & the fruit was tender and delicious. When I couldn't find it at Costco a few months later I ordered from the buyer directly. I was so disappointed because the dates are dry and woody. "Best by" date is a year ftom now. Won't buy again.

Organic dates are not easy to find (in our area). I resorted to buying non-organic and paid the price with higher calorie count for small serving amount. This brand tastes great, is fresh and ample serving size. I will be a regular purchaser!
