I am absolutely in love with the Jolie Finishing Wax in Black! This product took my furniture projects to a whole new level. It goes on incredibly smooth and instantly adds depth, richness, and a beautiful, subtle sheen that makes everything look professionally finished. What really stands out is how easy it is to use. I have never used a black decorative wax before so I was so nervous about using this, but I had a look in mind for my armoire and this surpassed my expectations! I thought it was expensive for the size when I received it, however when I used it I realized the price for the size is great because a little goes a long way! Its so buttery and easy to use. If you make a mistake while applying it, it's easy to clean off anf fix. When its completely dry, it hardens to creates a very durable finish. The picture is of my armoire I painted with white chalk paint and rubbed black Jolie finishing wax in the crevices to create the look, the picture is taken after finishing the paint and suing the armoire for 4 months.

Nice and smooth. Much easier to use than poly. Can’t comment on longevity but excellent initial impression of this topcoat.

Great look and feel. First furniture wax i have used as just getting into wood working and all that. Was easy to use. Only issue is some rub off that is still tinted but makes sense being a black wax and all.

Very pleased w this white tinted finishing wax. I used Sweet Pickins Milk Paint ( not on amazon) in color Denim, then used the white finishing wax to seal it. I am pleased w the look of my vintage bench. (Be sure to polish w a cloth after it has set for a few minutes.) If i wanted to keep the dark denim color, i would hv sealed the milk paint w Howards Feed & Wax, very nice seal for the milk paint! (I typically do not write reviews, but very pleased w this product! Hope the pictures helps you to make your decision…)

Great wax

Pretty good product, but a little thick and “hard” to get out of can and brush on furniture. Tore up my brush! Adds a decent shine after buffed good. We shall wait and see on durability.
