Are they good for trimming marijuana?

Sure. They are made for bonsai (leave/thin branches), flowers and other plants!

Tips of the scissor don’t line up when closed, is this intentional? The tips are crossed over making “X” shape. Not sure if this is defective?

This is an intentional design, as you can also see in the video for the listing. This is made so they scissors can cut a variety of branch thickness without breaking. If they were lining up and closed, they will little by little loose efectiveness and could not cut that many trees.

can these be used to cut flower stems such as roses ?

Yes, you can use it for gardening and florist work as well. It can be used to cut branches and stems up to 1/2 inches (10mm) in diameter.

Can these be taken apart for maintenance?

Can’t taken a part however can be clean after the process and good to use for next time.
