Large 3" Granite River Rock 5lb - Decorative Natural Granetic Gneiss for Aquariums, Landscaping and Fire Pits

My rocks arrived covered with dust and an ugly gray color. But as I have been working on setting up my aquarium for a while I am very used to washing and rinsing things as I have found most items such as substrate are very dusty and drift wood is full of tannins all things that if not rinsed or soaked thoroughly will muck up your water. So don't let the dust on these deter you it's normal. The first thing I did was rinse them off. When the water hit them their true colors came through and they are beautiful. So don't write them off until you give them a chance. I received 6 rocks 1 large oblong one about 3/4 the length of my hand, 3 were medium size close to the palm of my hand and 2 smaller ones that still I would not consider actually small rocks. So I was very happy with the size and color. So definitely don't judge these rocks until you get them wet and show their true colors.

They look nice in a fish tank, rember to wash lil b9t dirty but esay to clean.

I wanted to get some large-ish rocks for my snake tank. These were perfect. I received a total of 8 rocks, each about the size of a fist or maybe slightly smaller. Nice variety of coloration on the rocks. I used 6 of them and the kiddos claimed one each for their rock collections. Definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend.

I ordered two five pound bags, neither of which contained five pounds of rock. One weighed 4.9 pounds --that's including the weight of the bag, not a big deal, would have overlooked it-- but the other weighed only 4.1 pounds (weight of bag included). So I only received roughly 90% of what was advertised. Pretty lame, honestly.

Very nice assortment of shapes, sizes, and colors (mostly gray & black, and a few with pink tones). I hope to use them in my new aquarium, but plan to test them first.

Beautiful rocks. Bought them for my aquarium. They’re not all 3 inch rocks though. I actually only got 2 that were close to that size. The rest were much smaller.

The weight was 5 lbs. and there was supposed to be approximately 4 stones. That would have made them be a little more than 1 lb. each. Instead there were smaller ones included with the large ones being smaller than expected. Otherwise they were very nice.

Got these as specimens for my Earth Science classes. Some of them were better than specimens from scientific supply companies.
