He wears a 10 in shoe and they fit like 13. I on the other hand wore mine like they were shoes and still do. I lost one of my shoes camping on day one lol so I wore the booties like they were running shoes I put them through hell. They are 100% durable and still have life in them. Since they came big they would slip of in the water so i would get in with them and slip them in to my lifevest.
