Very nice for the price
First update- 2/15/24 these belts get a decent amount of use and they still look good and the clasp has no issues. they do not get hard use, they still look good and I can wear them with normal clothes. I use these as just normal belts, not duty belts. I wear them daily and they seem well made. The metal clasps seem solid and operate nicely. The clasps are wide- they will fit through jeans but it can be a tight squeeze. Some pants these won't fit through (like khakis don't work).

Genuine YKK WB38DA2 buckle, Great overall quality
I bought this 2-pack, which included one belt with the YKK buckle and one with a metal buckle: Fairwin Men's Military Tactical Web Belt, Nylon Canvas Webbing YKK Plastic/Metal Buckle Belt at Amazon Men’s Clothing store https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CLDZM6N I wanted to buy this belt in a 1.25" version since most of my pants had loops for that size. The YKK buckle was a must since I had backpacks and camping gear that had YKK buckles and zippers which were of high quality and seemed indestructible, and many reviews of belts with knockoff buckles said they broke very soon or didn't hold tight to begin with. Unfortunately I couldn't find a 1.25" web belt with a genuine YKK buckle. I even contacted the manufacturer asking if I could just buy a buckle so I could make my own belt, but I never got a reply. After that I gave up. But seeing the belt listed a second time on Cool Tools, I thought I'd give it a try anyway. I made sure it had a genuine YKK buckle by asking a question. I soon got two affirming answers - Amazon.com: Customer Questions & Answers : https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/Tx10XU7SFUFKJ7W/ref=ask_dp_dpmw_al_hza:Sof5euaK41b6mFngPJ7qP3Xvepg?&cuid=497431 and even a review with a photo - My new favorite belts : https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1O6C1NHVP34XN?ref=pf_vv_at_pdctrvw_srp:RIPc6mL_h0tCV3t-KcN5GV6mX_o&cuid=497431. The belt I got has the most current YKK model number WB38DA2, which is exactly what I was looking for. No regrets at all. It turns out the 1.5" width still fits my pants' belt loops. The thick, pliant, nylon web material glides through the tight belt loops with ease, unlike my leather belts that bind on every loop. The buckles, both of them, are easy to adjust to the perfect size, and hold unexpectedly tightly. I can't move the belt at all within the buckles, even pulling with all my might. They both require using two hands to tighten but loosen with one hand. I have pants that are now two sizes too big for me, since I lost some weight, and I had been using a 1.25" leather Columbia brand regular belt with two added holes, pulled uncomfortably tight, to keep the pants from slipping. Despite the discomfort, they still slipped down, with all the weight in my pockets, and I had to constantly pull them back up. With the wider 1.5" flexible webbing of these belts, combined with the infinitely adjustable buckles that hold fast, the pants don't slip at all and the belt is at a comfortable snugness without digging in like the former 1.25" belt. I have nothing but praise for these belts. I think the buckles will last indefinitely, especially the metal one. The plastic one will be a welcome change at the airport.

Metal clasp is heavier than expected
These are really nice belts. I purchased a set which included blue and black belts and two clasps, one metal and the other plastic. Both appear to be quite strong and the belts are reasonably fashionable. At a little over $6 per belt I consider this a great purchase. The metal clasp/buckle is pretty heavy. Heavier than I expected. If I were to purchase this product again, there are versions at Amazon which include two plastic clasps, and I would probably opt for one of those. The plastic clasp bears the YKK mark and having been an avid backpacker I know that YKK plastic buckles, fasteners and clasps are top notch products unlikely to fail in even heavy use. The metal clasp/buckle works fine. But it is heavy enough that if you pick up a pair of shorts made of a synthetic material (for example) and if the shorts were previously threaded with this belt, the metal clasp is heavy enough to cause the belt to start unthreading itself from those shorts. The bottom line is that the metal clasp is significantly heavier than a more traditional metal belt buckle. But it is certainly much better than some thin piece of metal which might fail in use. Anyway, I am sufficiently pleased with this product to give it a well-deserved five star review. But I would go with the plastic clasps/buckles if I were to buy it again. Any maybe I will. I could use another brown or tan belt :)

Doesn't fit through the average beltloop
If it fit through the average sized belt loop, I'd give it four. I loved the look, ease of buckling and affordability. They should have just designed it with at least one end of it narrower, so one could actually wear it.

So far- so good; I'll update this either way after wearing them a while...
Package arrived via USPS without damage; also please note that items in picture were not included in this review, but were purchased via Amazon. Pros: items were package well. The belt itself seems heavy duty and strong. The black one - though the same size - has a different texture than the tan one. The feeding ends of both belts are angled/beveled some to help it go through the buckles, and the webbing heated to help prevent fraying. As to the buckles are metal, and appear and feel well made; the two ends attach well and haven't slipped. The buckle releases well. Cons: The webbing is of course rather stiff, which makes it puff up in the buckle loop some until it loosens up some with wear. The buckle has no real design to it, and resembles most of the other metal buckles out there. But– at least they aren't cheap plastic!! There is a stretchable "loop" on each one. It moves way to easily, so I plan on the following: After I see what position is best to not interfere with my loops on my jeans and BDUs, I will mark it and place a drop of clear Gorilla or Fabric glue on the underside of the movable loop. This will stop me playing, "chase the belt loop" when I wear it. Thank you.

Great belt, surprisingly sturdy and functional, and doesn't hold moisture
I bought this belt specifically for walking and hiking because the old leather belt I used to wear would absorb sweat and never dry out, meaning that the waist area of my pants (and everything underneath) would be damp all day. This belt, however, either dries out immediately or allows everything else to stay dry. That's a huge improvement in comfort when you're active and sweating. The nylon weave of the belt is very tight, the edges are finished nicely, and the buckle seems really fricking strong and secure. I actually needed a screwdriver to pry open the back of the buckle so I could remove the belt to shorten it. The buckle never seems to slip, and the belt itself doesn't seem to stretch very much at all (if ever). It just stays put. Note that fastening the buckle does require two hands and a decent amount of strength in at least one hand -- your right hand if you wear the belt as intended, with the belt exiting the left side of the buckle. If you have any conditions or injuries that significantly reduce strength in that hand, you'll have trouble fastening this belt (unless you get fairly creative). The upshot of this is that, when fastened, there's no way this thing is coming undone accidentally. Unfastening it on purpose is still pretty easy as long as you have a few inches of belt to tug on (i.e., don't over-trim it). Overall fantastic quality and functionality. I'm very happy with it.

Arguably the best belt I've ever worn. Highly recommended!
Very well made! Easily and Infinitely adjustable! You can cut and resize the belt to your liking. It's a very tactical, practical and fashionable belt, all in one! I can't think of a better belt than this, I may as well wear this type of belt forever unless shown otherwise! I hope this belt will last me for years to come, as I sure plan to wear this everyday. The Nylon is very tough and durable, and the buckle feels very secure. Price is also very reasonable, and much cheaper than many of the "brand" name options such as Calvin Klein. Additionally, I didn't expect it to come in such a nice box! It would make an incredible gift! Highly recommended!

Good Strong Belt, buckle is a little hard to figure out and locks very tight.
Good belt and look is nice, metal buckle, but test it first before tighten to your waste pants, at first hard to loosen it. Play with it first before putting on.
