Except oil
Excellent to use worth ultra marine blue to make blacks or tint to make grays.

Beautiful color!
This Cassel earth paint has a sort of purplish tint to it. It’s that color in the sky at sunset in the clouds right before the sky goes dark. I truly love it.

A must for cloud painting
There is literally no other color I’ve tried using that comes close to this one. A MUST for anyone who paints clouds/sky. Add a little titanium white, cobalt blue and a touch of burnt umber if you are trying to achieve that beautiful evening blueish purplish color of the clouds, or add a touch more of this color to achieve the darker parts of the cloud on a stormy day.
