Will this prevent dogs from even hanging out on lawn?** A: The only way to "prevent" dogs from doing their business on your lawn is to have a fence to keep them out. That said, I don't have a fence on the front of my property, and I use this product as an an animal deterrent. I use it in the spots where dog/cats have gone and it keeps them away. Keep in mind that a treatment won't last forever and it is degraded by the weather (rain/snow), so you have to determine when to reapply it. Hopefully, they will find another place to do their business but there's no guarantee, unless they are physically prevented from accessing your lawn.
