Anybody Want A Free Mop?
I grabbed one of these Leifheit 3-in-1 Multi Mop - Leifheit 57700 last week while I was out shopping after I realized just how many disposable pads it took to do my floors (all linoleum or wood). This morning I took it for a test drive in the kitchen.First, the mop wouldn't fit in my mop bucket, so I had to fill the kitchen sink. I really hate having to have dirty mop water in the kitchen sink! It is so unsanitary - and now I have to scour and bleach the sink so I can use it to do dishes again! The mop head is made out of the type of sponge that disintegrates at the drop of a pin, leaving little bits of foam all over. The wringer mechanism does not adequately wring out the sponge, so there is extra water all over the floor. I had to sit right down in that water (Thanks, Leifheit!) because the mop is too big to fit under the kick plate on the cupboards. The mop head and the bit that has a brush/squeegee waggle back and forth. Worse, the mop seems to "stick" to the floor, making it very hard to push.Poor old Grandma has a wet behind, had to crawl all over the kitchen hitting the bits the mop wouldn't get with a scrub brush (Ouch - my knees!) and feels like she's run a marathon. This mop is just too inconvenient and WAY too much work! Try, try again . . .Grandma recommends that you buy a different mop!

Ignore the 3-1; the only usable part is the sponge!
The media could not be loaded. Leifheit's listing for this mop on Amazon has a big blunder - no video to explain how to use it! This is not a simple gizmo to figure out and the instructions included are minimal. However, if you've lived in a country where cleaning floors involves actually washing them, this mop seems to make sense. You slosh water all over the floor, squeeze the sponge dry, squeegee the dirty water together, sop it up with the sponge and squeeze out the dirty water. Simple, right? But - the mop design simply does not work very well. The squeegee angle is odd so that using it to collect the water together requires some awkward maneuvering. The brush and squeegee are on the same piece and you need to manually remove the piece, turn it over and reinsert it to use the brush.Another annoyance with the mop is that it has a really bulky profile with all the parts in place and cannot clean well under cabinets. After using it for a few months, I have given up on the squeegee/brush portion and only use the sponge to wash the floors. I have a separate squeegee I use to get the water together and then use the mop to sop up the dirty water and get rid of it. Frankly, unless you are pampering your tile and really want a sponge mop, a regular mop would do just as well. And you can probably find a sponge head mop for a lot cheaper than this 3-1 from Leifheit

Okay... but too ambitious
This is a good mop... but it suffers from what I might call "multi-function-itis". It's trying to be way to flexible and that flexibility comes at a price. The handle is sturdy enough, but it has a way of dropping the parts that are attached to it. The brush is nice enough, good for scrubbing those difficult to clean spots, however the squeeze/wring-out function isn't that strong. It pushed out just enough water so that it didn't drip, but forget using it to soak up another sponge worth of moisture.

Not as useful as a traditional mop, but easy to use and clean
It takes some trial and error to figure out how to remove the sponge, but otherwise the mop is straightforward to use. I'd recommend a wide mouth bucket or bin to hold the cleaning solution. The brush doesn't seem that useful, but the squeegee comes in handy with smooth floors where excess fluid has to be pushed.Overall: 4/5 stars, great build quality, the sponge may disintegrate when used on rough surfaces

Love it!
Great mop! The handle telescopes nice and long so I can get to the top of my walls. The mechanism for squeezing water is easy to manage and keeps your hands dry. The brush/squeegee attachment works great. You do have to remove it and turn it around to use one or the other. Or leave it off so the sponge will fit under the cabinets. There is a handy little scraper to get the hair and other stuff that clings to the mop after rinsing. Altogether all that I need in a mop!

If it came with a better sponge, this product wouldn't be so bad
If it came with a better sponge, this product wouldn't be so bad. However, the sponge that came w/ this product immediately started to break up after being wet and squeezed. Not only does the mop not squeeze well causing massive drops everywhere on the floor, but the sponge kept breaking off in pieces everywhere. As for the squeegee portion, that seems to be better used on windows or glass doors outside than inside. Overall, just from the sponge of the mop, it's not a good mop for home use nor for commercial use either.

Clumsy Idea
What you get here is a large clumsy, in the way mop head. I thought this would be great for the garage and it is that, but it would be easier with separate brush and separate squeegee, each easily obtained at any home store. This unit is hard to dip in bucket and it's tools all just get in the way.Sorry.The mop is as good as any mop, but the rest of it, awwwww, just bulky, non necessary and odd. I will go back to the old proven method.
