Tiny Size! 0.7 Ounces should be the measurement listed not 20 grams
Standardized Measurements would be nice!It is also not an adhesive (which I am aware of) but it is misleading to others.I use this compound to seal the ends of custom length LED strips for outdoor installations. So I go through a lot at a time. While quickly needing to order some for a project I selected this as I use ChipQuik for Flux. I ordered thinking it was a nice price for something the size of the ASI 388 2.8 Ounce tubes that I normally use. The deceptive use of grams instead of Ounces made me assume I was getting 2 Ounces of the stuff not 20grams. I was not happy to see that I received a tiny little container of Silicone. I now have to not use the Amazon App for purchases as these details are too easy to miss on a mobile device.Amazon refunded it without a return (thanks!) but I still have to order a proper sized one as this is not nearly enough to finish a project and I doubt it will stay uncured for long after opening.

Does not adhere
Used this to replace an ipad screen. I'm not sure why this is advertised as an adhesive because it definitely seems like a lubricant. After waiting more than an hour for it to dry I was able to pull of the screen like nothing. Deff don't buy as an adhesive.

Buy it, use it, love it
Ever fly a drone in the rain? Now you can. Coat all your boards in this, and a strip of packing tape over the battery connector (jst, xt30, xt60), flip on your fpv and have a whole new experience. I looks so B.A. flying through rain. Do it with your cheapies just in case. Also, protects your circuits from touching between your boards and frying them.

Not sticky enough to be adhesive
This stuff isn’t very good. It’s not sticky enough to be an adhesive and the drying time is super long. This is basically the same as spray on silicone but without the quick drying and easy coating advantage. You can get spray on silicone that will do the job much better to seal the water out.

The right product to mount capacitors
This silicone has the right amount of adhesion to secure larger though-hole radial capacitors tothe circuit board. It also has the other important properties for electronics, and can be removedwithout damaging the board. Very small tube won't last long if you do a lot of this type of work.

Old? Out of date? New tube had cured material
Half of the sealant was cured in the tube before opening tube for first time. I always knead the ingredients in the tubes to mix any separation of chemicals and there was a large section that was hard, cured.

Does the job
I needed to replace a capacitor on a power adapter, this worked well for that task.. the small tube worked great for my use, especially since this type of silicone usually has a short shelf life.

Good adhesive
Cheap and good adhesive for electronic components. I needed it for my laptop internal parts to stick the chassis as I was replacing the entire chassis.
