Bariatric Advantage Complete MultiFormula Wild Berry Punch Crystals 45 Servings

I am not using this multivitamin powder in a bariatric context but am using it instead as both a complete vitamin supplement and a beverage. It has a good flavor and has minimal calories so it is a win -win in regards to getting needed vitamins and fluids. I have found that I can mix it with significantly more water and not have a watery flavor. Individuals who have had bariatric surgery are fluid restricted but that is not pertinent when using this powder by an individual who has an unaltered digestive tract.

First the good - shipping was quick and package arrived in fine condition. Now the not so good - these crystals taste horrid and they don't completely dissolve. To make them at least palatable, I've taken to mixing one scoop with 8oz water and 2 squirts of Crystal Light berry flavor drink mix stuff. Turns the stuff in the glass a lovely shade of gray and adds a bit of flavor to at least allow me to get it down. Once the container of this awful stuff is gone, I will definitely be switching to some chewable vitamin.

My husband swears that this drink, reminds him of the candy Sweettarts, but allows him to enjoy his vitamins .

I love this product. I add it to my morning smoothie. I have to admit that it took me a while to get used to the super sweetness, but now I can even just add it to a glass of ice water and drink it down just fine!

Tasted better than I expected. Was perfect for me!! Highly recommend for Bariatric patients (I had gastric bypass)!

Taste a bit like alka seltzer and aspirin, with a bit of fruit. Nasty. It does dissolve well though and shipping was fast. Taking into account that most products like this taste nasty, it meets the status quo.

THIS IS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE FORM OF BARIATRIC VITAMIN FOR THOSE WHO DISLIKE CHEWABLES AND HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THE MULTIPLE DAILY CAPSULES AS WELL. IT MIXES FAIRLY WELL IN A PINT WATER BOTTLE BUT THERE IS SOME GRIT. EXPECT TO SHAKE IT PERIODICALLY IF YOU SIP VERY SLOWLY. POSITIVE: IT IS FORMULATED FOR BARIATRIC PATIENTS SO DUMPING OR OTHER ADVERSE REACTIONS ARE NOT AN ISSUE. IT IS SWEETENED WITH SUCRALOSE (SPLENDA)AND CONTAINS 10 CALORIES AND 3g CARBOHYDRATE SO IT SHOULD BE AGREEABLE WITH ANY POST OPERATIVE DIET. THE FLAVOR IS BETTER THAN I EXPECTED WITH NO "VITAMIN LIKE" TASTE. ADD MORE OR LESS WATER FOR YOUR DESIRED SWEETNESS. NEGATIVE: ITS NOT THE BEST NUTRITIONAL VALUE FOR THE MONEY. TWO PACKS A DAY PROVIDE A MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE SUPPLEMENT LEVEL FOR GASTRIC BYPASS PATIENTS. WHILE IT IS A CONVIENIENT ALTERNATIVE, I WOULD NOT RELY ON THESE TO MEET MY FULL SUPPLEMENT NEEDS. EVEN AT THREE PACKS A DAY, THE DRINK MIX OPTION IS LACKING COMPARED TO MANY BRANDS OF CHEWABLE AND CAPSULES. THIS IS A NICE HAVE FOR THE DAYS YOU WOULD RATHER NOT BOTHER WITH THE VITAMIN REGIMINE.
