Real Pistachio Flavor....At Last
It has been decades since I tasted that true, all natural Pistachio flavor. True Pistachios grow best between Iran and Turkey and that is the taste you get here. They don't look pretty on the outside with their earthly brown, heavily roasted sheen but once you get paste the shell the perfectly salted kernels range between kermit green to Sage green...in short the perfect shade of the true Pistachio color. What I first noticed was real pistachio flavor: The flavor that is missing from the Jumbo America pistachio. With these Aznut Pistachio that all natural Pistachio flavor doesn't hit your pallet until you completely chew and swallow the luscious green kernel (Try this. Just eat one kernel. The taste hits you about one second after you swallow it). Fantastic! A taste from heaven itself! Another bonus is the real salt grains that perfectly coat each pistachio. No salt paste here just all natural and lightly coated real salt. Finally and most important is the number of "good kernel" you get in each handful/bag. I would say that only about three or four out of one hundred Pistachios are "bad" meaning rotted brown, yellow. or over cooked. This is way, way less than an average bag of California or Florida pistachios that have up to 60 % of the bag full of off color, yellow/brown kernels or those green on the fringe but all brown in the middle kernels. A complete waste of money, time and taste. That does not happen with these Aznut Pistachios. In short, If you want that REAL, true green Pistachio flavor that only the Middle East can truly provide, then these are the Pistachios for you. Do Pistachios vary from season too season? Yes, so results may vary depending on time of year...But I will close with this. Aznut Pistachios at their least are better than any any Pistachio grown elsewhere and at their best (which is most of the year) Aznut Pistachios are the real deal, true Pistachios flavor. Enjoy!

Great nuts
I have been buying Antep nuts for many years, and some were good other mediocre and others were outright stale and tasted awful, fit for only one place; trash can! The last couple of years I tried Aznuts, around 10 reviews were all 5 stars, and thought to myself, maybe good, may be paid reviews, but will try 1 bag and see as Amazon Customer service will refund me if the nuts were not fresh. The minute I opened the professionally sealed bag in the evening, I could tell they were fresh. Had a few, and the real, original taste of the Antep I used to have at my teenhood came to mind and kinda intoxicated me. Didn't know how many I had, but needless to say that the bag didn't see the light of next day! Ever since, I have been ordering them on a regular basis as my family and I enjoy nuts. All the nuts I have received so far were very good quality, fresh with a distinctively delightful creamy taste of the dark Antep pistachios. Waiting to be disappointed with a single nut... I remain

Lots of closed shells
There were lots of closed shells, need a cracker to open them. Great taste though.

Best deal
Aznut pistachio cost less than Lila Bazzar while the flavor is almost as good and better than Anna and Sarah. The best Turkish pistachio I had was at Balady super market in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, last year. It was Ramadhan, it's time for people here to buy pistachio and other nuts more than usual. The super market opened and displayed new boxes of loose nuts in the middle of the super market. They are fresher, crunchier, sweeter, nuttier, bigger.... Outside Ramadhan, these boxes are back to their storage room. If you go to this super market now the nuts are in glass container and you won't know how long they sit there. But try to go there in Ramadhan 2022.

Worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon (and I order a LOT of items)
For many years, I ordered a different brand of Turkish pistachios and they were excellent. I saw that these were also Turkish Antep nuts, but a couple dollars cheaper and thought I would try a pound. Unfortunately, these were awful. First, the taste ranged from bland to bitter with most on the bitter side. Second, about every fifth nut was not open making around 20% of the bag inedible. Third, there was not enough salt on the nuts. Fourth, there is no mechanism on Amazon to return or exchange this product and no way to even complain. In the past, I have ordered nuts and been sent the wrong item, but Amazon quickly refunded my purchase price and shipped the right item. Not for these nuts, so all I can do is throw them out and write this warning. Seriously, donโt buy these pistachios. There is something not right about them and the lack of access to complain or ask for a refund suggests to me that they may know how awful they are and are dumping an inferior product.

Excellent Turkish Pistachios
Like several other reviewers on Amazon I have tried most of the Turkish Pistachios that are available online. Many are good, some not so good, none are terrible. But having been to Turkey years ago I kept searching for the taste I remembered. Finally, I found it!!! These are excellent pistachios. Easy to open, just enough salt and very tasty. In reading some of the reviews I often think the reviewers have never had Turkish pistachios and are familiar only with those from California. Nothing wrong with California pistachios but as they say, it is like comparing apples to oranges!!! Also, try to remember that these are imported and like a luxury car are going to be more expensive, so please try not to be negative about the price. They are worth the price. I hope this helps a little. Again, excellent pistachios!!

Tasted very generic
Satisfy with the taste.. I have had Turkish pistachios before that tasted so much better. And tasted too generic. What got me to buy was the description that said 100% natural premium quality class A. Will most likely not buy this brand.. will most likely buy it locally for half the price.
