I used this on my scalp when I got braids done, and it really helped keep my braids, refreshed and calm down the itchiness. Love it!

Been using this spray for a while now, it's light and delivers a refreshing mist but I haven't noticed any significant changes to my hair's health or look.

TL;DNR - great for bangs, but not for ends.The situation: I took a shower last night and did not style my hair at all. I woke up with my bangs in the wrong place and my long hair ends all crinkly and weird.The claims:(1) "great to move a bang around with a lighter weight then water" -- Yep. This stuff works GREAT for bangs. I wouldn't say it is "lighter" than water because then it wouldn't do its job, but it doesn't feel like I've put anything product-y (not stiff, not goopy, etc) in my bangs so I love it.(2) "Baobab seed protein repairs damage while Pro-Vitamin B5 gives longer, parched locks the moisture and frizz control they crave. " - Nah. My longer parched locks still look parched and frizzy. I was LIBERAL with my use on my ends and I still feel like they could use a little more love from one of my other products. It also feels slightly brittle as it dried. It's possible I used too much, but I was trying to get the alleged moisture and frizz control to appear.My hair details: My hair is long, fairly straight, and light red. (It's Norwegian red hair - strawberry blonde is what some folks call it.) I'm also 45 so I'm going platinum. Some hair professionals have called it fine, but my best friend's Canadian/Irish hair is much finer. I'm way overdue for a cut, but my ends are healthy. They're just uneven.Overall - I think this product is best for short hair and/or bangs.

You know when you're about to head out the door but don't have time to shower but you still want to style your hair quickly and give it a little refresh? Well this tonic spray from Rudy's will do the trick. It's a great product meant to revive your dry hair and protect it as well as your scalp. And it smells amazing! Such a great way to feel like you made some effort without doing much at all. Using this tonic is much better than just splashing your hair with water or product.I often use this to prime my hair for a little bit of pomade or cream, and it does wonders. The travel size is perfect to keep in a gym bag or carry on with you on a plane. I've been using this stuff for years and I swear by it. Most barbers have a go-to spray like this and Rudy's is by far the best one that I've used. Hands-down.I also love that Rudy's never tests products on animals. No sulfates, no parabens, and it's good for your scalp! What's not to love??

It builds a bit of body, but there isn't much in the tube, so I used a small amount.Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2022.I liked my hair today, but I will not repurchase this; (For the cream). I wanted the body I got using the small amount I used, but I think there is too small an amount in the tubes of both that and this spray; however lovely, the look of my hair justifies recommending this item. This tube of product is tiny, and the liquid is thin. I find the cream stiffer in my hand as I rub it into my hair. The little bit I used of this seemed to enable shine and body. I didn't think it was a good idea not to use it much. I always use a leave-in product for my color-treated hair (color and highlights). People compliment my "great" hair. It is about excellent products I use. I am 68, and my grays will go wild if not treated with a decent product.I am happy I tried this, but not for long hair because I recommend using something that offers more product in a tube for less money. Men with short hair might also like this product's texture; in that case, I would use more for texture.Enjoy!

I just spray on my hair before styling and this great tonic leaves my hair looking soft and frizz free!!!This actually sprays on very liquid (like water) and it just does wonders for my frizzy fine hair.I don’t have any build up on my hair, it just looks and feels soft and smooth.So glad I found this great new tonic spray by Rudy’s.

Like the other reviewers I do have a positive view of this product but I'm a little unclear if it offers any benefit to my hair in terms of frizz/setting style.The way I have been using it is sometimes in addition with a dry shampoo to revitalize my hair a bit. As it has a nice, herbal, unisex essential oil type scent I feel like it does a good job at helping me feel more clean/refreshed if I've gone a while without a hair wash. The price and ingredients are nice and travel size would be even better for the refresher use if stuck on a plane etc.When the bottle is out I'm unsure if I'll buy more or if I'll see a difference over just the dry shampoo (unclear as of yet) keep it as part of my daily routine but I could see myself using it more for travel. The ingredients do for sure support long term hair health with nettle (high in natural silicone) and b5 so maybe this is more of a long term product and I haven't seen the effect yet. At this price feel free to give it a try and it's cruelty free as well.

First of all, the spray nozzle they use is awesome. It is hard to describe but it's not just a simple pump, it has a short continuous spray the whole way down so that you can us one pump to cover from front to back of your head. Trust me, it is nice. Then the actual elixir is also great. I have used it both in the morning before styling and later in the day to "re-activate" my hair to style it again. It works for both uses and helps reduce frizz. I am happy with the results.
