I find that biotin helps my horse with hooves that crack easily. I can see a difference in the growth patterns of his hoof when he is on a biotin supplement and when he isn't. This is a pretty simple formula that mainly contains biotin. I have used other hoof supplements that contained biotin as well as a bunch of vitamins and other ingredients. If I am feeding everyone a general supplement that covers the bases and I just need to add some biotin to one horse this is a great product for that. If you want to supplement more than just biotin you might want to look for a product that has more ingredients and covers more. This product works great for me. It is a powder, so I add it to grain with a little water or mash so it sticks to the grain. I have not had any problems with them refusing to eat it. It seems to last a long time too. Good company, good product, good price.

Great product

My Farrier said "Get Biotin". So I did!! It's going to take a while for us to see the complete results just because hose can take a really long time. However, I'm already seeing it take same to be a better and stronger hoof. My mare likes the supplement. She doesn't have any problem eating it at all. It's a small dose so feeding it daily is easy. My Farrier said it's looking like a good start to healing her hooves. I do have to say that I've used this brand before and I feel confident that the ingredients are what they claim. In the past there's been some supplements that I've gotten where I've doubted the a) quality and b) if what they said was in it, was really in it. I feel like with this brand; I don't have to doubt that and they put out a very quality product that I'm happy to feed my animals.

I've seen a huge improvement in my mares hooves after starting this supplement. She had flaky hooves when we started using it and now her hooves are growing out strongly. She's now barefoot which I didn't think was possible.

We started the horse on this biotin because she has been struggling with a very soft hoof for about a year. We have been holding off on getting her shoe'd until her hoofs get strong enough. We tried it out last night and she likes it blended in her food. So after she has had no issues eating it. We mixed it in her usual meal and she eats it very well, so that's relieving. We"ve heard nothing but great things bout this brand and so we were.so happy to try it out. It worked really great with strengthening my neighbors horse hoofs so we have good faith that it will work for our girl. We can't wait to see what the future brings. Overall, at this point this brand of products have always worked out great for our horses and we have no doubt that it will work. Its a little costly but it's worth every penny i would highly recommend using this if you're experiencing any hoof or hair problems with your horse.

Horses don't seem to be bothered by scent or flavor. Easy to dose. I did not see a big difference in feet or coat.
