Perfect results
10 strengths, one you cannot hear and 10 will heat the room . % is enough for a big bedroom. The no blade design is a nice safe feature. Great quality. Actually invented by a major Japanese manufacturer who never used the patent. Dyson picked it up, improved it and made it a fine product. I like it as a back up heather in AZ, it keeps the air temperature even across the room. The air palettes keep a non drying even heat much lower than the other heathers so you do not wake up with a parched throat or a dry sinus. As a fan it move a lot of air and not much dust, a great design. The price tends to vary depending on demand and season. I got mine form my dear Amazon and got a great price.

Looks great, performs well, a little loud.
EDIT AFTER USING THE PRODUCT FOR A DAY: Once you get the hang of how to use it (temp needs to be set all the way down for constant fan flow, or all the way up for constant heat flow), this thing really works well. For example, I don't have a fan in my bathroom, so I'd use my previous vornado for clearing the steam out the window during a shower. I'd always have to leave the vornado running for a while after I got out of the shower. The dyson works far better and all of the steam is gone right away. Heating works well, too. My only gripes with this product: - It's pretty loud. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't so loud. - There should be controls on the TOP, not the bottom. The bottom controls are very hard to see. You have to back away from the unit and bend down to see them. They are almost useless because you'd have to bend all the way down to the ground to use them. So you pretty much have to rely on the remote, which, knowing how forgetful I can be, I will probably misplace frequently. - The remote control affixes to the top with a magnet, but the controls face DOWN. Why why why why would they do this? Why don't the controls face UP so I can use the remote while it's affixed to the top of the unit? Aside from that, it's like a beautiful, functional piece of art. It's really far better-looking than the vornados. Hopefully it will last much longer. My initial reactions are below: I really want to love this heater, and I've only had it for one day, but here's my sense about it so far: PROS: - No moving parts or areas to collect dust like Vornado (I've had multiple Vornado fan heaters but they have a lifespan of about 2 years before they no longer work because of dust buildup) CONS: - Loud - Hard to control the fan- hard to just say "turn on fan" and keep it running. It has to be tied to the room temperature. So if you want it to run for a long time, you either have to turn it to the lowest temp setting, in which case you get no heat, or way above the current room temp, in which case it gets too hot. In this case I thought Vornado was superior because you could just flip it on and it would go until you turn it off. Ultimately I will probably return because at 4x the price of Vornado heaters, I'm happier buying a Vornado once every 2 years for the next 8 years and coming out even.

Is good when you buying it JUST for the looks
Is good when you buying it JUST for the looks. Is good when you buying it because you have to or want to stick it to a corner. Is good when you don't want your kids expose to any fan blade. (there are cheaper alternatives) Is good when you want heated and self rotate and remote controlled (thee are cheaper alternatives) Is good when you don't mind paying a extra 0 for any of the above. Is bad when you think you getting some sort of advance technology in this fan. Is bad when you try to tell your friend how high tech this fan is. There is no tech. they pretty much moved the fan/turbine to the base of the unit, imagine is really a fan that blowing upward and through a tube that changing the direction. There is no tech on "multiplying" air, they really want to compare this to the situation on a flying plane? Really? The angled exhaust edge generates next to nothing or consider nothing on "air pulling" force. Is just marketing gimmicks. Due to the design, it is also noisier than any other fans that's blowing the same amount of air. It makes much louder noise just to move the same amount of air. I bought 3 of them just for the looks and the format, if you don't care about the looks or must need a quiet fan, look else where.

Not a scientific marvel - just a great pitch.
We feel this product is a sham. Sure, it's impressive and intriguing on TV - even on a store shelf. But when you can actually touch, feel and study, it's not really the scientific wonder it's advertised to be. It's still air being blown by a fan (probably a small turbine) hidden in the base. The air is taken in and delivered out by a zillion tiny little holes, all arranged to amaze. It's also noisy when running. We have no problem with Amazon or the subseller; all delivered as expected. But we do feel like we let ourselves get suckered in by a scientific marvel that isn't really so ... a quite expensive lesson!

The Cadillac of space-heaters!
Definitely not worth the price for a space heater. You can get one much cheaper that works just as well, but if you want a cool, neato, rad, awesome, high tech space heater that has "Dyson" written on it then you have come to the right place. You can NOT set a temperature that you want AND set the fan to run continuously. We used this in my daughters room at night and it took a while for her to get used to it coming on and going off throughout the night. It's also pretty noisy on most of the fan settings, but it will definitely move some air quickly! ***There was a recall on these products. We sent ours in to Dyson, they fixed it and returned it all free of charge. It worked great before and works the same now.

Love it and all the functions. It's not in the description but upon reading the manual it tilts up and down! Heat rises, cool air falls and I am the daughter of an engineer and truly appreciate the quality.

Had to buy directly from Dyson Canada and returned item to Dyson eventually as not that powerful in throwing good quantity of air and noisy than a simple fan.

In a room 12 x 14, it works well for cooling. Other fans weren't effective. The Dyson fan keeps the room cool and is reasonably quiet.
