Nikon D5300 For Dummies

I love this book. It's so much easier to use than the user guide that came with the camera. The user guide is very small with tiny type vs the Dummies Guide with easy-to-read typeface and graphics. It's very useful for a dummy like me.

A must read for anyone serious about maximizing the use of the D5300. It covers all the camera features in an easy to read fashion. The illustrations make it easy and simple to follow along. Don't expect to read the book in one sitting, nor to read it and become an overnight expert on the camera's many features. There is a lot to learn and you'll want to experiment w/ different settings before really feeling comfortable w/ all the 5300 can do. Consider it a companion piece to your D5300.

Really impressed with this book so far! I’ve learned more about my camera in the first few pages than I learned in the entire year I had my camera. My only complaint is that the pages are a little thin so if you were to highlight (which I did), it may bleed through the page.

Buy does this make it easier to understand my new camera. Last Nikon I bought was film and was a step up from previous film cameras and easy to use- maybe 6 features to know how to use. This I thought would be a step up from my Coolplex digital. This is a whole new world of features and tools for getting better pictures.The owners manual is ok: but the print is 6point type on dull paper and yes you can load it to your phone or computer but this book explains and provides great explanations that are easy to read and additional information that helps.

great info just that i had gotten the d5600 because the d5300 was not available not much of a difference but great unit

In perfect new condition. Great book, very informative with step by step instructions as well as tips & advise for the more advanced users. I highly recommend it.

I received a Nikon 5300 for Christmas and although the camera is easy enough to use in auto mode, I knew I could do a whole lot more if I'd learn the features and how to use them. This book to the rescue. I've read several books by Dummies, and just like the rest, it was easy to understand and I'm not well on my way to utilizing all the advanced features this camera offers.

The book is fine but it clearly isn’t new. Someone use it as a flat writing surface and the writing impression are all over the cover. The cover as well is creased at the seam and there is a bit of the yellow spine missing. If it was a gift I would be very unhappy.

Ottimo manuale, sintetico quanto basta, con ampio corredo di immagini e testi a colori. Per chi mastica un po'di inglese o vuole migliorarlo, è una buona occasione per unire l'utile al dilettevole. Cimentarsi nella traduzione dei passaggi più importanti potrebbe risultare oltremodo proficuo.

I found the instructions that came with the camera not as informative as this book, not even close. With all the pictures and ease of understanding the instructions is fantastic. I have learned a lot in the short time I have had the book. It also came on time, thanks.

j'aurais aimé une version en français...ne me servira pas ,donc achat inutile . Ce serait tellement plus simple de poser la question lors de l,achat
