AZ-1 Portable Automotive Hand Control System

I just needed a little help occasionally with braking, so this works well for me. I took the two pieces apart and use the lighter one on the brake. In order to use this for both throttle and brake, a person would need strong and dexterous hands. NOT recommended for quads, I have 90% use of my right hand and would not feel comfortable using this as intended. All that said, this is a well made system and the portability is great.

I have used this hand control system for approximately three months and I love it! Having no sensation in my feet due to multiple sclerosis, I became unable to feel the gas/break pedals and had to stop driving. After reviewing all of the available systems on the internet, I chose the AZ-1 Portable. It sounded durable, easy, and safe.The day I received my AZ-1, my dad came over and installed the system in my car. Then, we drove around my subdivision and a local parking lot so that I could "get the hang" of it.Learning to use the system is fairly easy, BUT I would recommend practicing different scenarios. In a situation where you must STOP on a seconds notice, unless you have really practiced with the system, it would be very easy to push the gas instead of the break.Saying this, after you feel very comfortable with the two controls, the system is perfect. I drive town and highway almost every day and the controls are like second nature to me.I highly recommend the AZ-1.
