It comes with a strap with holes so you can put it around your wrist or maybe your ankle. The battery goes into the devise but you have to remove the back to get to it.

My wife has always wanted a nicely made Mickey Mouse watch that had a quality feel and look to it. Since this is an official supplier for Disney I knew that they wouldn't risk their international reputation for quality by putting out a cheap watch. So when it popped up as an Amazon Lightning Deal, I checked out the pictures and reviews and decided that this might be the one. It came securely packed in a presentation box inside of an outer cardboard sleeve with a warranty manual included. Upon opening the box I was immediately impressed with what a beautiful watch this was for such a small amount of money. It is very colorful with outstanding graphics, a shiny chrome background, and easy to read numerals. Although it has a large (44mm) dial, it is lightweight and comfortable to wear. Yes, it is made in China. But Disney obviously is concerned with its image and reputation and has selected a supplier who no doubt built the watch totally to Disney's specifications. Contrary to common belief, there are some skillful and conscientious vendors in China. Any supplier with a Disney contract is unlikely to disappoint them with an inferior product. The watch comes with a one year limited warranty and the battery life is expected to be around 18 months. Any reliable watch battery supplier should be able to replace the battery for a few dollars when needed. And what did my wife say when she opened the box? "Oh Mickey! You're So Fine You Blow My Mind."

I bought this as a gift for my husband to replace one we bought a couple of years ago that quit working. He loves it! So far it's working great!

Love the watch but do have trouble telling the time sometime because of the way Mickey's hands are located... Love the design though

It’s bigger than I expected, but that makes it even cooler! My old Mickey Mouse watch died, and I wanted to replace it. There were two sizes available, and I chose the larger one. At first I though it was too big, but that’s the whole point of a Mickey Mouse watch…people love to see it. I love it. Keeps perfect time. I needed a new watch, but I didn't want to spring for something expensive. Hey, let's go retro, get a Mickey Mouse watch. OK, so I find this model of M.M. watch, it's kicky but classy enough for office wear--what can go wrong? --After three days of wear, the watch back falls off, revealing it's just a cheap plastic movement stuffed into the case. Disappointing, but it's not a Rolex...because a Rolex wouldn't have a plastic, pop-in back that pops out easily. --Second week, watch catches on my backpack strap and the band pin flies off to Never, Neverland. Hmmm, pretty cheap band pins, but OK, it's not a Rolex. --Third week, notice the faux alligator band has cracked/ripped through to the backing. I've put on the watch maybe twenty times. Wow, cheap band! --Week after, watch catches on backpack again and this time the pin loop on the band rips out! Spring for new band. In the process of replacing the band, I notice the plating on the base lugs has already worn off and the pot metal is showing through. --Look at it just now to check current condition--the plating on the face is wearing off! I'm not a coal miner; I work in an office. The watch has had light, routine wear and the thing is falling to pieces already. It's not a street-bought knockoff, it's the same Disney-brand I could have bought at Target. Maybe the Mouse cabal should un-thaw Walt because the company is flogging crap these days.
