After installing two more RAM sticks (6 of 8 slots consumed), the board failed to boot and would boot loop until forcefully resetting itself to 3200MHz. You can get it to boot at 3333MHz, but not 3600MHz. I ended up receiving half of my total RAM as Samsung, and the other half as Micron. Thaiphoon you can use to read the full info on the RAM. This will get you the information you need for the second program which assists in recommending what settings to use, in order to reach a stable speed: DRAM Calculator for Ryzen - will allow you to enter what Ryzen/Threadripper CPU you're using, and get the recommended OC in order to reach your desired speed. Please note - Do NOT use this tool if you're not familiar with OCing as you'll need to enter information (in order to receive the correct setting recommendations), or are using an entry level board, you've been warned. I was frustrated with this kit until using the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen, and now it booted the first time on a cold boot with an XMP Profile, but I did have to change a few voltage spots, increase RAM voltage by 0.1 (3.6V), and some other settings that you shouldn't touch as an entry level user. Runs at 3600MHz which I need for my Workstation, so I'm happy. Just remember; RAM always runs at the initial directly supported speed of your CPU, thus if it doesn't support 3600MHz out of the box, you'll need to OC or have someone do it for you that is more familiar with it. First screenshot is 3600MHz on a Cold Boot Second screenshot is the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen, which worked on the first attempt to get me a stable 3600MHz on a Cold Boot. Again, if it makes you uncomfortable or don't quite know what you're doing, do not use it. Especially don't use it for entry level boards.

This 16GB kit of Corsair Vengeance LPX was the final piece for my compact build, and it's the standard for reliable performance. Paired with my Ryzen 5 5600G and Gigabyte A520I AC motherboard, the 3600MHz speed hit the sweet spot, enabling me to run the system flawlessly. The low-profile heat spreaders were essential, fitting easily inside the Thermaltake Versa H18 case without any clearance issues. I enabled XMP, and it worked instantly. Fast, reliable, and highly compatible memory. Zero issues.

I purchased this 16GB 3600 kit a about a year ago. I wanted to upgrade the capacity and was tied between buying a new 32GB kit or just getting the exact same kit again. Since Amazon has a pretty good return policy I figured I had nothing to lose with just buying the same kit again and having a total of 32GB. If it didn't work out I would just return and buy a new 32GB kit. If you do this keep in mind there is no guarantee the RAM will run at the advertised speeds. If you are like me and like tuning and tweeking then go ahead, just make sure you buy the exact same RAM from the same manufacturer, all the speeds, and all the timings are the same. (but even so there is no 100% guarantee it will work) I simply installed the two new modules right along with the existing sticks of ram I already had. When I turned on the machine I went right into the bios and loaded optimized defaults. Reset the PC and let it load into windows. Everything worked so I went back into the bios to activate XMP to see if it will run at 3600mhz. Reset and yep... windows loaded, started gaming and opening as many tabs as I could, did a mem test and everything is working. So I will be keeping this kit. It is also about $15 cheaper than when I bought it a year ago so that is a plus. There is a lot of Intel branding on this ram but I am using an AMD 3800x with an x570 mobo so if you have a Ryzen CPU its good value for the money.

so i got these to replace a set of adata 2x8gb at 2400 mhz. this corsair set was a bit of a hassle to get to work. the first try it only recognized 1 with both inside. the second time i just reseat the ram and it still didnt work. third time i just swapped the sticks and then it recognized both, i then had to go into bios to get it to run at 3600mhz. this managed to boot and run without problems on a b350m bazooka motherboard. ive seen other b350 havers only able to get to 3200mhz otherwise it would blue screen. maybe i got lucky or this board just has better ram speed support. as for performance, it helped stabilize some fps in certain games, both to maintain 165hz and also to help with the 1% lows. didnt give a crazy amount like you'd expect though, but it also helped basically everything load faster in windows. even something like epic games launcher now loads in under 20 seconds. satisfied with the purchase especially for the price, compared to other ram kits at this speed update: this wasnt actually fully stable at 3600mhz, would sometimes blue screen during certain games, had to bring it down to 3200mhz, but it's still decent performance gain and in the future when i upgrade my motherboard, ill be able to run it at 3600mhz and get a slight bump in the future.
