Black Metal Dome Knobs for Electric Guitar and Bass (Set of 2) 6mm Shaft with Set Screw DK50M-BLK

Exactly what I was expecting. Fit the pot shafts for an Audere Classic pre-amp I installed in my bass. Original knobs were for ridged split shaft, these are for 6 mm solid shaft. Perfect fit, look and feel great. Old style slot for screwdriver is an added vintage bonus.

I had 3 different sized pots on my Carvin SC90, three of which are knurled and one that has a smooth shaft. I had bought the guitar used online and the owner before me had done some creative electronics to split the bridge pickup using the volume knob etc. He had the pots wrapped in duct tape to "fit" old style domed shaped knobs. It wasn't working. I knew I was in trouble to find proper fitting knobs. I scoured Amazon's selection for hours and after reading the positive reviews here, I decided to try them. They worked like a dream. Great fit on my set of misfit 6mm pots. All of them! Very happy with my purchase. Good quality and I was done sifting through what seemed to be a lot of unhappy reviews of most all other guitar knobs I had looked at. Check out the pic.

The OEM volume knob on my ESP M-II had seen better days and I was looking for a direct replacement. The original knob is in a black nickel, but thought I would give these glossy black knobs from Vintage Forge a shot. I think it looks great with the black knob, and looks like it should have come that way from the factory. The knob fits the ESP post perfectly with no issues. These are a hair taller and slightly larger in diameter than OEM, but it's not noticeable in regards to playability. I'll certainly look to buy from Vintage Forge again to replace the hardware on my other guitars!

I bought these after doing some modifications to my Jackson dinky, I switched out the small Alpha pods to full size CTS parts and needed different knobs to go on them as they are bigger than the Alphas.. and these fit and work perfectly. These do not have a cheap feel whatsoever and have a nice sturdy weight to them, they do not slide or get loose and have a very high quality feel to them!

I'm happy with them, but the forged black metal did look a little dull. I really don't know much about forged black metal so it's probably just my ignorance. In any case they're heavy, sturdy, and well made. I like 'em even though they're not as shiny as I had hoped.

I could not be any more pleased than I am with these! These have a beautiful polished finish and would probably look good on anything! They fit my Ibanez AZ2204N pretty much perfectly. Not too tight and no excess wiggle room so the knobs are perfectly centered on the pot shafts with the set screws there to catch a tooth and hold these glorious knobs in place! They appear to be billet, though I am not sure what the medal is underneath the gold finish but considering the heft I would assume steel or brass. You could probably run these over with a tank and only be left with having to buff some scratches off. These will surely outlive my guitar!

These knobs are solid, heavy, really high quality knobs. The only grips I have, which has nothing to do with the quality of the product, is how tall they sit compared to the stock top hat knobs that come on strats. They make palm muting the higher end almost impossible. Even palm muting the low end is a little more difficult because my pinky keeps hitting the knob. So again, there’s nothing wrong with the knob. It is what it is. Just bear in mind that if you palm mute a lot, it will hinder that. But other than that, they are really nice quality knobs
