Good disc, but not for ultimate frisbee.
This disc is just way too hard. Though it hits the 175 gram requirement for ultimate, you can barely throw a flick with this disc. In addition you may bang up your fingers trying to catch in game too. I’d recommend for casual throwing, but not for playing ultimate. I gave 3 stars because it’s still usable just not sport specific and the concept is brilliant with it being environmentally friendly. I’d recommend the seller to modify the design to be more flexible and less rigid in general. It’s labeled as having bamboo and corn, but you may want to see if you can work in some Hemp, same strength but more flexibility. Keep the 175gram weight if you want the disc to be usable for ultimate.

Great Eco Disc!
I like the Eco Disc because it is rigid and flies really well! I love knowing that I am playing with a product that is kind to the environment. This environmentally friendly fact engaged people's curiosity and when they flew the Eco Disc, they too were satisfied with how straight and how far the disc went. It does not have a rubbery feel at all and doesn't have a slight wiggle or flutter like many cheaper plastic frisbees do. This makes the Eco Disc a little different from other flying discs, something that I enjoyed but for others it was noted that due to the rigidity, it has a slightly different kind of impact on the hand when being caught. I have noticed that unlike some frisbees I have used, the Eco Disc does sink when it lands in water, something to be aware of. I have been looking for a new disc to play with and am completely satisfied with the Eco Disc and found that so far, everyone else who has used it has remarked on how well it performs. Thank you LoveLotte!

Too Hard For Our Dog
I didn't realize when I purchased the Frisbee just how hard it was. Our dogs teeth sounded like it was hitting a trash can lid every time he played with it. I'm sure for general Frisbee games with people it would be great. Seemed very well made and durable, but not for dogs.

It's a frisbee, but it's not comfortable in the hand.
I LOVE the idea of a frisbee using non-petroleum ingredients. As an avid ultimate player, I've been searching for one. This one hits the mark for ingredients but the feel in the hand is difficult. It's a VERY hard, stiff disc, making catching difficult and sometimes painful and limiting the types of throws you can make. It's novel but we need a better alternative to the plastic disc.

Seems Dangerous
I really wanted to like this product because it's sustainable and biodegradable BUT it is so hard I'm afraid it's going hurt my dogs if it hits them or they try to grab it with their teeth (really afraid it will break their teeth!).I think unless you are really good at throwing and catching frisbees/discs, it is a bit dangerous.

I mean, it's a frisbee
It's a frisbee. I'm not sure the fancy pattern does anything to help it fly.The progressive thinking, fully recyclable packaging was amusingly falling apart when I recieved it.All in all, would buy again (silently laughing at the amount of attention paid to the most simple of sporting equipment)

Lasted exactly 1 hour
I liked the fact that it was eco-friendly. 2 stars almost exclusively for that. My kids and I are experienced frisbee throwers.Unfortunately, it was weighted weird. I could not get it to fly straight. It curled hard right even if I threw it with extreme left angle. It was impossible to use. It also felt really terrible to hold. It was hard. Normal frisbees aren't this hard feeling. My kids refused to use it after 20-30 minutes. I tried to bend it a little to fix the curl and it snapped. We ended up using an Aerobie sprint instead. This is my first review of any product. I'm sorry it wasn't a good experience.
