Review: I like it, but my daughter loves it! - My five-year-old daughter loves her bicycle basket. Her bike is mostly hot pink with purple accents, and the basket went very well with the color scheme. In fact, with the many colors on the basket (red, light blue, yellow, pink, purple, and white), it is very likely that it will match your daughter's bike as well. If you have an older daughter with a bigger bike, you may find this basket a little small. But for us, it fits great! After six months, the LED lights still flash. Although they are motion activated, it does take a considerable amount of motion for them to start and keep going. They will flash for about three seconds before they need some more "motion" to turn on again. When she rides on a smooth surface, the lights do not flash reliably. If she was riding on more bumpy terrain, I'm sure they would flash regularly. Perhaps they should be labeled as "bounce activated" rather than "motion activated." The plastic basket does feel a little thin, but it functions just fine. We have not had any problems with it staying on the bike. It installs easily in less than two minutes; you simply wrap and snap the straps around the handle-bar. Despite any of my criticisms, the way my daughter lit-up when she saw her new basket made this a great purchase. I would get this same basket again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does anyone know if this would fit on a Strider balance bike?**
A: I have a strider bike, but this basket is on another bike. It should fit great across. We used zip ties to put it on. If you have the handle bars down all the way it is probably a little close to the wheel, but we've never used the strider bike with the handle bars all the way lowered. They'd probably be okay if they were, just close. We love this basket, we've had it a year and the lights still work.

**Q: Will this work on a strider balance bike**
A: It should, you attach the basket with zip ties that are included and it also has fasteners attached and you could put those over the handle bars.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the basket?  Big enough for an 8 year old?**
A: Yes - medium size for a child's basket. My girls are 9 years and it is just right for their bikes.

**Q: Is this basket made in the USA?**
A: No

This basket is very cute and easy to attach to the handlebars. It's quite sturdy and a good value as well. The lightups are cute and add an added safety measure during early/late hour riding. The basket is quite sturdy and holds quite a bit for a smaller basket. I would definitely purchase it again - Five stars from me :)
