I got these Monro-Matic Plus 33183 shocks for my 2007 Chevy Cobalt, because the original shocks were not stopping bounce and brake diving. I also got new springs so I wouldn't have to do multiple alignments.Together, these shocks make the Cobalt handle a little better than when it was new, being a little higher quality than the stock ones.If your Cobalt is getting bouncy on city streets, these are the shocks to get.They fit exactly like the originals, and help reduce somemof the road noise, too.At the current price I would get another set if I had an Impala or another Cobalt, because these are worth more than the price currently.

Bouncing and wheel hop stopped
Shocks came very quick and easy install. I didn't realize how bad my existing stocks were until I had some major wheel hop. I put these Monroe shocks on the 07 Cobalt and we are smooth riding now.

This one works well for the 08 HHR SS with FE5 suspension. Can be challenging to get the right parts online for this vehicle. This one works well.

Dont last
Only had them for 8 months and they’re bouncy and squeaky. My car is a commuter car so there’s never really any heavy weight in my car and I live in the city so I can’t be super dirty , so that only leaves one thing. They’re cheap! Should have gotten some better ones. 8 months is nothing! I need to get some better quality ones

Perfect fit, significantly cheaper than the parts store could offer. And that's because they didn't last a year and have no warranty whatsoever. Support said once they're out of the box, the warranty is done.
