I first tried this on sore muscles during a massage on a cruise ship something like 20 years ago. It worked great then, and it works great now--both the current product and my 20 year old bottle. It seems expensive, but when you consider you are essentially buying a lifetime supply, it's comparatively inexpensive. Suppose you have exercised too hard, or you over did it raking leaves, and you have an intense burning pain in your muscles. Rub literally a couple drops into the painful area and the pain disappears almost instantly. You are functional again. Now and then, when you've gone too far, you use a couple drops of this stuff. So how long do you suppose a bottle is going to last? A LONG time! And since it's a plant oil it doesn't seem to go bad with time. Yes, I have purchased a second bottle. I've shared the original bottle with relatives and it's still making the rounds, so I bought a replacement. The original was still more than half full! Is it a good money making item? Probably not, since you will likely never use it all. But I'm really glad it exists! It's not a cure-all. It doesn't help with nerve pain, bad discs in the back and neck, etc. But it's not made for that. It's made for tired, overworked muscles. And for THAT it never fails. That's been my experience, for what it's worth. EDIT: I've read some other reviews and it looks like I have used less than some. But I'm not a pro athlete, and I only use the minimum amount necessary to get relief. I think that's a good philosophy--use as little as is necessary. But if you only use a few drops at a time, and only now and then, do the math... it's going to last a long time.

I have been using this product for years. Although it is a bit expensive, it is still worth the price. Try to buy on sale . The oil last a long time. After you apply it, the oil soaks into your skin.and relieves your tired and painful muscles. I especially use it on top of my knees and all around my legs. It decreases the pain in your joints also . I highly recommend this product of anyone who has pain . The oil is definitely a pain reliever. It is stored in a blue colored glass bottle. They have improved the screw top lid making it easier to open and close. Buy it if you have any muscle aches … you won’t regret the purchase.

This oil is worth it's weight in gold! Introduced to me when getting a massage in 2017 while on a cruise. Cured my leg cramps then, so when they flared up recently I didn't hesitate to order.

Great product. Great fragrance. Non-greasy and great absorption. My husband purchased a bottle while on a cruise. We were so happy to find it on Amazon. It makes your legs and arms are so smooth. We have referred a few friends too.

I didn't find it to be soothing on muscles. It has a nice smell and feels good on skin after a shower.

I have purchased this ElEMIS Muscles Active Body Oil numerous times and love how relaxing it makes me feel, especially when I have sore muscles from working out.. I like using it after a shower, right before bedtime. The scent is light and fresh smelling rosemary and pine. A little bit goes a long way and the bottle lasts me a long time, so it's totally worth the cost. I have sensitive skin and this is really soothing. I drift off to sleep feeling completely relaxed.

I have fibromyalgia, arthritis and bone degeneration - THIS helps a lot when my husband massages me. My first bottle was purchased on a Royal Caribbean cruise at a whopping $100USD .. so finding it in her for far less was wonderful! Love it!!

Este aceite es muy muy bueno para todo tipo de dolores musculares. Es de olor agradable y no se necesita mucha cantidad para poder dar el masaje. Unicamente podria sugerir que mejorasen la forma de enviarlo, lo recibi en un sobre de papel por lo que la caja del tarro llego algo doblada. Me preocupa que al tratarse de un tarro de cristal ,aunque es de cristal duro pueda verse da#ado po partirse en el viaje. Pero de nuevo repito, es caro pero muy bueno. Espero que sirva mi comentario. Really like this product. Subtle scent, a little goes a long way and skin is left feeling soft and smooth. This product does have a relaxing effect on muscles, in my opinion. Lovely colour of bottle, only criticism is the screw cap on the top - really fiddly to use - even more so when you inevitably end up with the oil on your fingers. That’s the only thing I wish was different about this product.
