These are great. I live in on base housing and it's OLD, we have these outlets in the most obnoxious places. This makes it so much better looking when we have to have things plugged in to these random outlets. For instance, the only wall in the living room, any normal person would put the TV, doesn't have an outlet. So, we have had to use the closest outlet which is about 3feet away in the middle of a wall that you can't really put anything. It was an eyesore, and my 18 month old son kept wanting to mess with the things plugged in because it was a visual distraction. Well, got this nifty invention and ALL DAY my 18 month old didn't even NOTICE we switched it up! I only ordered the one to see if it would be worth it, I do wish they weren't so expensive, I'd like to purchase a few more but will most likely only be getting one more as we only have a few more months left in this home before we PCS and I'm hoping we won't need them once we move.

Many of the reviewers that left a negative review either did not read the product description and ordered the wrong type or cannot think critically. Very easy to use. Works great. Sits flush and is just the right size. Helps keep furniture against wall and makes everything look more tidy. Plug fits tightly and is designed for receptacles with the "ground pin up" with the cord then pointing down...but if you need to route the cord upwards and over furniture edge and have "ground pin down" receptacles then just flip this "upside down" and problem solved. Five Stars ⭐!

I just got this item and installed it immediately! 😁 My child is 10 months old, and he has been pulling on the chords in his room lately. I used this Sleek Socket to cover the actual socket while keeping it usable. I have it reaching up high into his open closet (no doors or curtain to it). By doing so I was able to hang the box fan up high out of his reach so that it still cools the room without being a danger. I also moved his lamp onto the shelf I put in the open closet, as he has come very close to knocking it over. Both items can still be plugged in without any danger to my baby. he investigated the cover on the outlet but could not figure it out and lost interest. The chord comes with command strip-like pieces to mount it to the wall making it easy to keep it flush with the baseboard. Now that I have turned the baby's room into a "Yes" space by use of this chord I feel much more comfortable letting him play in there without constant supervision.

Better than cord covers, it is also covering the outlet

The lamp we use in my 2-year-old's room is plugged into the socket that is wired to the wall switch, which is located behind his bed. A normal plug was a little dangerous because the cord had to be bent for the bed to sit close to the wall and I was really worried about it sparking. This was the perfect solution. It not only made the socket flush, it also covers the 2nd socket to keep him from sticking anything in it (assuming he ever moved the bed to get to it, which he hasn't so far).

I needed a solution to have an aesthetic solution on the drywall on which my tv is mounted. The plug and power strip extended out from the outlet and the thick, round wire would not have looked good even it was running straight up the wall. This was a perfect solution, however, please note that if the outlet is below the tv like mine is, you can open the outlet and turn the outlet upside down. Otherwise you can get covers for the wire and run the wire down, then across then up the wall to the desired mounting spot. Using my method, the power cord is flat so once you use the two sided tape that comes in the package and get the line straight and perpendicular to the outlet, it has a clean, professional look. My drywall is white, so it all blends seamlessly. I might add a photo later.

Just so it's clear. I went through 3 returns with this product. I bought the 2 outlet, 8ft extensions. First Amazon sent me the single outlet one. Something went wrong on the order page (Adding to cart and ordering from wishlist defaulted to the single outlet one) so I sent it back in factory condition, everything included, the clips, the 25 adhesive strips, and outlet, still in the plastic and twisty ties. I reordered to get the 2 outlet one that I thought that I had ordered the first time. First one was mint, and looked great, but I really wanted the adhesive strips that were missing so I sent it back. Second one was also missing the adhesives, but it looked used. It was beat up and had scratches on the finish. So I returned it again. I thought it was unusual that it showed up used like that and in a factory box so I started looking deeper at reviews. It wasn't until after this that I watched some unboxing videos that I noticed that none of the reviewer's boxes for the 2 outlet ones had the adhesive strips either. It says clearly on the amazon description / product pictures that the adhesive kit comes with the 2 outlet extensions. When I got the third one, sure enough no adhesive strips. But this time I was expecting that. The product is mislabeled on the website. It doesn't make any sense to me that they'd include the adhesive strips with the single outlet one and then not include them with the dual outlet one. Even the pictures for the dual outlet one say that it comes with the strips. But the box is updated and doesn't include this info. Other than that, it works great. Without the adhesives you cannot get the clean look that you see in all of the pictures because the clip kit isn't strong enough to hold the cables taut. But, I'm just running the outlets behind furniture anyway. It would look way cleaner if the 2 outlet one included everything that the Amazon page says that it will. But alas. Would go 5 stars even without the adhesives but with the misleading marketing and the strangely used but factory sealed mishap I gotta bring it down on this one. It seems like a great product.

The concept of this product is genius. It really makes a huge difference in the look of the room, especially if you have a wall mount TV and entertainment center like we do. That said, there’s definitely room for improvement. 1. Need more options for length - Maybe I missed it in the description, but the 3ft one is the length of the entire thing NOT the extension cord part. We ordered it, it was too short by 6-7inches and ended up having to get the 8ft one because that’s the only other option so now there’s a lot of left over cord. 2. Cord direction - when you plug the cover into the wall outlet, the cord comes from the bottom. If you’re using this for anything that is above the wall socket that means you need to go down and then up when placing the cord. It would be easier/cleaner if the cord just came from the top of the cover (not sure that’s possible, but just a thought) 3. Only 3 outlets - other than significantly improving the look of your room, using this product only gives you 1 extra outlet. (Covering 2 outlets on the wall to get 3) Considering the fact that the adhesive is so strong, it would be nice to get more outlets out of this product to have more flexibility in the future if we need to plug in other things in the same location.

This is the same review as I left for the double plug. In short: get this if you're trying to use and outlet close to the wall! Why these haven't existed before now baffles me. They were a life saver when I wanted to retain access to outlets and run power into large cabinets for under the TV. The cabinet could slide tight to the wall and I could still power things inside, such as the DVD player. The cords are long enough and thick enough to suggest high quality. No heat comes from the plug or cord when in use so it's not a dangerous, low quality item. The only real negative is the cost is on the high side, but since they are the only company I can find who sells these, I guess they have the market cornered for now. I appreciate someone finally making something like this.
