The ingredients never expire. Just like bottled water, they have to put a date, but it doesn't mean anything. I am still working on a box of Margarita Bloks from 2012 and no issues. I only use them on marathon runs, which are pretty rare for me. As others have said, they are a little harder. IMO they still taste good and still get the job done. **Q: Are there just nine chews in the nine chew pack?** A: There are six chews in each pack. I assume that if it says nine it means nine packs of six.
