pleasantly surprised!
I can honestly say I loved this book! I was never a die hard Jersey Shore fan, but when I did watch I found Nicole to be absolutely hilarious. She seems like a real tell it like it is kind of person. This book is quite obviously 100% Nicole, and not a ghost writer. It is written in a tone that is relatable to women ( and men) of all ages and pregnancy knowledge levels.I have never had a baby, but as a former labor and delivery Registered Nurse, and now a Family Nurse Practitioner student specializing in Obstetrics, I know a lot about the ins and out of pregnancy. When I discuss pregnancy with my expecting patients, I generally have to discuss it in a less than interesting manner. I often feel that the way RN's are taught to educate our patient's glazes over what the patient can actually expect. The way Nicole described it was so on point, without sugar coating it, and very informative. Far too many celebrities attempt to glamorize pregnancy and describe it as this amazing bonding experience with their unborn child and feeling so euphorically happy all of the time. That is simply not the case 100% of the time. So many new moms go in to the experience thinking it is going to be all sunshine and rainbows. But lets be honest, you body is producing another living being, thus there is going to be discomfort and a lot of potentially embarrassing changes. Everyone can find comfort in knowing that they are not alone in these experiences, especially if they read a celebrity discussing the embarrassing changes they went through.I loved the candor Nicole used in describing some of the more unpleasant aspects of pregnancy. It is pretty obvious while reading this book that Nicole did her research on the normal facets of pregnancy, and then put her more realistic spin on what to expect. I honestly think this book should be required reading for all new moms because it gives them a relatable and funny glimpse of what to expect over the next 9 months. It also allows them to see that what they are experiencing, no matter how bizarre or gross, is perfectly normal and experienced by millions of other women. Nicole tells you everything you can expect regarding mood, appetite, bowel and body changes. I found myself literally laughing to the point of tears numerous times throughout the book.If you are expecting to read a book about a Jersey shore party girl, then you are sadly mistaken. The person writing this book is clearly a matured, and intelligent young woman. Nicole gives some information on her background, and it is obvious that she is an intelligent girl who knew how to capitalize on what could have been only her 15 minutes of fame. She was able to switch from party girl to mommy mode and still remain her uncensored self to the core. This book has made me like her so much more, and I will certainly be rereading this whenever I am expecting my first child :)

Loved it. Reminisced. Glad I wasn't alone!
Honestly, I couldn't WAIT to get this in the mail. I had been so excited to read Nicole's book since I heard she was writing one. Pregnancy is a bitch and NOBODY ever tells you about it. I always felt like I was going to be this horrible mom because I didn't love myself as much while I was carrying my son, Connor. I related to everything she wrote about--for better or for worse. I gave birth in March 2012 and only wished that this was released in time to put my mind at ease. I'm so grateful to her for being so honest and up-front with her readers, fan base and haters. Being preggers should not be sugar-coated, and this book is far from a piece of candy. Nicole, this book will be sure to help future mommas and papas. Thank you for telling it how it is so the rest of us can tell our men "See, I told you I wasn't the only psycho-bitch!"

Brilliant!!!
Yes I am a Huge Fan of Nicole's, and thats why I wanted to read Baby Bumps However, Fan or Not this book was incredible. I read it and finished it in three days. The way this book was written it felt like she was speaking directly to you. I enjoyed the realness of what she had to say, not only about her pregnancy but her family. I just got Married in October and my Husband and I are looking to start a family right away, and reading this I have a better look then what other people tell me about pregnancy. I feel more prepared on what to expect because of her details. A note for the people who have talked bad about Nicole, if you have nothing nice to say then don't say it at all.Thank you Nicole For Sharing an important part of your life with us. I absolutely loved it. Wishing you and your Family nothing but health and Happiness.

So proud of Nicole
I have followed Nicole since the Jersey Shore and I was so excited when my favorite people came out with JWOW & SNOOKIE reality show. I love Nicole's humor and how honest she is with anyone and with everything! She does not hold anything back and I respect that. I love how she has grown from a crazy party girl to an amazing mature mother and wife and how she didn't lose her wild side either! Love watching her shows and I'm so sad it's the last season but I wish nothing but happiness to her and her family! Loved how honest this book was about her pregnancy!

Better than the other celebrity mom books
Out of all the books I've read about pregnancy this has been my favorite. I never watched Jersey Shore, but as a young FTM with a fair share of good times in my not so recent past, I wanted a non-jaded account of pregnancy from someone young, somewhat unprepared, and relatable. Nicole delivers! No, this isn't Shakespeare, but she effectively conveys the heartfelt moments that all new moms-to-be are eager to read about. She wasn't nasty, melodramatic, opinionated, or obnoxious in fact, I found her to be sweet, candid, and very well suited to motherhood. I am so happy I read her book! I am now a big 'Snooki' fan!

great read. snooki will make you laugh
This book was an easy understandable read. Not only will it be good for pregnant women but also mothers, because they can relate to her story and get a good laugh out of this book. I also like the fact that she does have Jionni's point of view as well. I really enjoy snooki and jwoww and I will miss there show coming to an end. I am hoping that Nicole will either write another book to keep us updated with her life. Another great idea would be for her and jwoww to write a book together to keep us updated on how their lives are going. I really enjoyed this book.

One of my favorites
Love Nicole there's something about her even during her bad behavior you can't help but like her and to be fair I don't think she's done anything we all haven't done growing up she just did it with a camera crew in tow! She's grown into a woman a wife and a mother and she sounds fantastic at all of them the way it's written you can actually hear both of them in your head! The way they have wrote things is exactly the way they speak they've done a marvelous job it was such an honest and fun way to explain her experience of pregnancy and the parts her husband wrote were great it was fascinating to hear his side of how he felt throughout I wish this little foursome a wonderful future they make a lovely little family

Okay
I like Nicole and think she has come a long way since her jersey shore days. This is a good book and funny in places and it does tell you the good and the not so good points of being pregnant. I wasn't a great lover of the book as it wasn't my style of reading, However if your a fan of Nicole then you will enjoy the book and it is lovely to hear the way she talks about Lorenzo as you can clearly see that motherhood changed her life for the better.

Very entertaining and funny
A lot of people give 'Snooki' a hard time but they should read this book. Some of the funniest moments is when she describes some of the issues that pregnant women have, the ones that people don't talk about. I hope that she brings out a sequel to this now that she is expecting baby number 2.

Best book I've ever read!!
It was amazing it really explained a lot and personally I could relate a lot and I defiantly think pregnant ladies need to read this, she doesn't paint pregnancy to be all a pretty picture because it's not and I love that she's so honest I literally read this book in a couple of hours, some people still relate to Nicole as a party animal but she's not she's changed and she's an inspiration, and a incredible mom this book will make people see that

slightly disappointed
Not quite what I was expecting from a snooki book. I was expecting raw blunt truths and having had 2 kids myself I know how pregnancy and birth go. This was quite mild wouldn't recommend anyone having first baby to take this book as gospel there's a lot been left out .
