Review: Best of all the stud finders I've owned! - Are you tired of stud finders that are not accurate, overly complicated, takes forever to calibrate, feels "laggy" when in actual use? Look no further - this does one job and does it well. Find the stud - it does that. The unit uses double A / AA batteries so we all have those on hand (not included). So once loaded.. just press the button and go... The stud is clearly marked where the red lights light up and easy for me to quickly draw a line across the length of whats lit up!. There is ZERO calibration time - press that button and stuff just happens! I've mounted about 11 things so part and had no "misses" to studs so far. Used over 4 other stud finders from Ryobi to the generic brands here on desertcart - all of them have a 2-3 second calibration time and I've had my fair share of "misses" eg where the stud was really so I get that double hole in the wall since I had to shimmy it a half inch over. Totally worth the investment and the plus side is I dont procrastinate on hanging projects as its quick and low friction to get the chore done!

**Q: what is the difference between prosensor T13 and procensor 710+?**
A: Hello,
The T13 is slightly deeper sensing at 1.7" deep while the 710+ senses to 1.6" deep, and the T13 has a pencil caddy. Both have 13 sensors and a 7" LED display. Thank you for your inquiry!

**Q: Does it works on concrete?**
A: Hello!
Our stud finders work by finding density, and concrete tends to be denser than studs behind it. The density of the concrete will throw off the sensor.

**Q: Locates rafters through asphalt shingles**
A: If you are asking if it will, the answer is probably not.  It senses the subtile change in the inductance of its coils produced by the VERY slight change in density of a stud behind a sheet rock wall.  The problem with finding rafters is that they are under decking, plus underlayment (probably tarpaper) and THEN the shingles. And neither the shingles nor the tarpaper are particularly uniform.  I'm afraid the only tool that will do what you want is the $700 Bosch terahertz radar unit.

**Q: does it work on the outside walls that are stucco ? considering that stucco is being hold with the chiken wire**
A: Nope - your only hope there would be to buy (or find a tool rental place that will rent) the $700 Bosch D-Tect 150 terahertz radar unit. That will literally look inside anything short of an aluminum trailer skin and see stuff as deep as six inches..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally one that works!

This is the one Stud Finder that I have owned in the last two decades that reliably and consistently tells me where a stud is with no false readings. Before this I drilled so many test holes to find a stud that I became expert at patching them. Since owning this I haven't drilled even one. Now for the ONE downside. It requires a full charge in the battery to the point you can't use rechargeables and it will stop working when the batteries are still good for everything else. A pain but still worth it.
