Sturdy
It's stainless steel so it feels sturdy and rust proof. Cooked with it last night, and it worked great.

What a deal!
I originally got this skimmer for making cheese. However, while it does the skimming that is part of cheese making, it is good for a number of other duties. Last night, I used it to place my chile rellenos into the hot oil and to remove them when they were done. Its perfect for wontons, for steaming delicate food and so many other things. It was a wonderfully low price for such a well-made utensil and it feels good in one's hand. I highly recommend it!

Beautifully made!
This spoon is beautiful, smooth, stainless steel with a nice weight to it. It is the right size to handle any job without being too huge like some are. I love this spoon. It is reserved for pasta and has a special spot next to my stove!!

Sturdy utensil that's well worth the cost
This product does exactly what you would expect by its description, and feels sturdy in your hands for a kitchen utensil at this price point. It is metal, so if you’re the typeof of person to leave a spoon resting on a hot pot or pan, you might get a little burn (and should maybe consider a plastic or wood utensil), but for a relatively small price to pay at his price point given the other strength.

Didn't even know I really needed a slotted spoon, but this is extremely useful, well made, perfect size, and it fits nicely in drawer
