The non-slip material is only on the back, and even when I pin my hair in the back, these things slip up around the crown of your head if you turn your head in any direction. Within a few minutes these things are just hanging around my ponytail. Don't waste your money on these, you'll spend all day pulling it down and putting it back on again. Just in the process of taking a picture of this, the stupid thing slipped up around my bun - just from turning my head.
