Absolutely love this book Total nostalgia all the way really enjoy reading it with my son bringing back memories of my childhood

Fun and exciting story. Several twists that keeps the reader excited and looking for more. Also left the door open for possible more adventures for William

My daughter read The Castle in the Attic in the school and she decided to continue with The Battle for the Castle during the summer. She enjoyed this book a lot. Perfect for 8-9 years old

This is a wonderful book for 3rd and 4th graders. My kids still remember reading it when they were young and I have used it for book groups in schools. 4th graders should be able to read on their own, but also wonderful to read with a parent or another adult.

This is a good sequel book of Castle in the Attic. In this book William returns to the castle and the land round about it with his best friend. He learns you don't have to do what is 'cool and popular' to truly be brave.

I was looking for an updated story similar to the Indian in the Cupboard series, and these books have fit the bill perfectly. My 6-year-old has loved listening to this book (as well as the first one), and is sad to see the story ending. SomeOf the vocabulary was a bit advanced for him, but has provided a lot of good opportunities for conversation. I wish there were more books in the series, as we would buy them all!

my daughters teacher owned 1 copy of this and it was such a popular book with both boys and girls thatmy daughter could never get it.Then it was returned by a student with the cover ripped and pages missing so I came online and bought it.My daughter read it and then we gave it to the class. She has since brought it home several times to read it over and over.Based on this I would recommend the book for both boys and girls.

This was a great continuation from the first book. My 9 year old loved both of the books!

Good book

A blast from the past!

This book brings back memories! I wasn’t fan of reading when I was younger, but I remember this story was unique in that it brought magic in a special kind of way, through those toys. I suppose it reminds me of the magic a child has when it playing.The book is also very descriptive which feels rather rare in books now a days. I also discovered it had a second book which was a grand surprise!
