I made a little infeed and outfeed table to hole material flat and square to the shear jaws. A piece of L flashing helps keep the material fed square. The outfeed table has a fence clamped for cut length. I just fabricated 75 qty 4" x 7/8" L shaped brackets out of 1-1/4" 18 ga SImpson strapping. The shear and companion box break on the left worked great. The combo does not take up much room.

Pretty handy. Much quicker than bandsaw, some warping but just bang flat after, worst part is hard to get square might make a guide. Does take a fair amount of force to start cut. Compound leverage arm would be welcome.

I have used this for several months now and it works great! I use it for 1/16 aluminum and 1/8” also
