Mazama Outdoors Chutes Stacker Kayak Rack

Holds three kayaks on my car with no problems. Didnt need to replace any nuts or screws

My "rack" is nothing more than a couple of aluminum poles, and I was looking for an equally inexpensive but effective stacker. This was a perfect solution. I can carry three kayaks on my car with just one pair of the Mazama stackers.

This stacker works great, I'm able to fit 4 kayaks on the roof rack. the stock bolts were not long enough for mounts on OEM rack. a trip to Lowes and I'm over it .great kit also includes straps .

These fit directly on my 95 Pathfinder stock cross bars. Excellent deal for the money. They don't fold down, but I'm thinking that they won't affect my gas mileage. Haha

Works great with my square cross bars, I have used these for the past two years with anything from 2-8 Kayak's on top without any issues.

Good for the money. I looked at Thule, Yakima, and Malone before buying this, their options were all in the $100 - $150 range. These are good, steel, seem sturdy, the mount is made to fit universally so it doesn't get suer tight on my Yakima round bars. They are a little short as well, I'm thinking 18" or so... it's only a problem in accessing the loop on top to tie down the second kayak (ours are 30" wide), I need to figure out a system for getting my straps ready and keeping them out of the way for the second yak... I will be adding a couple of Yakima Hex Keys to make tightening and laying it down easier.
