I'm 23 now and for the past 4 years there hasn't been a time where I didn't have a Dimensions project going. This kit was great. Easy and quick but not too easy to be boring. Good for when you want to have a craft project for the weekends or something but are too busy to dedicate a lot of time to a huge project. And it turned out really beautiful. There is a HUGE section that you are using black thread on black material. Not sure of the point, very tricky to do this. Do not choose this as your first cross stitch project. Set it aside until you have done some on white aida cloth and you've blended threads, used different kinds of stitches, etc. I used additional metallic blending filaments to make my butterfly iridescent. It's really outrageous.I really like Dimensions cross stitch kits. They have nice colors, the threads are already sorted, the instructions are complete, and you get to use several different kinds of stitches.
