Does the citrus juicer works well with key limes? Or is it too big?

Yes it works very well with key limes. Our 2-in-1 design allows you to be able to squeeze any lime comfortably as well as any lemon, so you do not have to buy 2 squeezers. One of the reasons I made this product is because I have tried to use a regular lemon squeezer for key limes and it was very difficult.

Is this the type that automatically stops after a few minutes of running to protect itseft from overheating?

Notice: - Correct operation timing control: turn on the appliance for 15s, then turn off the appliance for 15s as a working circle; after you have operated the appliance for 10 circles, you should stop the operating and turn off the appliance for 30min to rest the appliance. By this correct operation, it will help to increase of service life of the machine, and please notice that it will not stop automatically after a few minutes of running to protect itseft from overheating.

Can the filter & adjustable filter be separated for washing? if so, do they just snap apart & then back together? i'm afraid to try it.
