EDIT: DOES NOT WORK ANYLONGER WITH TRACFONE USA despite having 4g LTE I was booted off the network only months after purchasing this i have been trying to find out if a way to reprovision it exists but no networks support it in 2024. Took a while to see my old review and change it.Works great for a every day phone the buttons have a nice tactile feel, basically a slightly over feature phone. Have not tested its water resistance probably wont, not on purpose anyhow. C̶a̶n̶ ̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶t̶r̶a̶c̶p̶h̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶b̶y̶o̶p̶.̶

This phone DOES NOT WORK in the US
I got this phone to use with my T-Mobile chip, but I was getting awful service no matter where I was. Even in places where normally I would get perfect signal, full bars, crystal clear communication: instead the other person's voice would come in garbled and choppy, and they wouldn't be able to hear me at all. So, after a few days I manage to get a representative from CAT on the line, and immediately they're perplexed: "Wait, you're in the US and you're using a B35 phone? That's only on the market in Europe. That phone's not meant to work with the phone towers here."I explain that I purchased it on amazon."Oh, I see. Yes, we have been trying to get amazon to take the phone down because, as I said, it's not meant to work here in the US but amazon refuses to comply. They're like that..."Spare yourself the trouble and don't buy this phone. Shipping is also insanely expensive...

Unique and perfect for my purposes (as a gift)
I was shopping around for a "dumb phone" for my stepdad who's over 60 that had basic enough features for us to get in contact with him. He saw some and hated the ones with the "big dumb help button or whatever", so I looked for one that is durable and could "survive if it fell in the lake." This one fit the bill! Although it shipped from Europe (I live in the USA and apparently it wasn't available in my country?) it arrived within the shipping time, perfectly intact, and perfectly usable with AT&T! While there's some features and apps he will never use, he seemed to enjoy it well enough just based on the appearance and weight alone. It took a tiny bit of fiddling around, but once we figured out the basic controls for the camera, flashlight, making calls, text messaging (though I doubt he'll ever actually text!), and turning it on/off; he was off to the races! It's been about 2 months and (thank goodness) he hasn't dropped it in the lake yet, but otherwise it is working handsomely and he enjoys the "big enough to use" buttons and candy bar body. He still doesn't text or call, but at least we can reach him when he's gone AWOL with the backhoe or boat.

KaiOS Operating System 👎 NO PRIVACY
Do you like privacy? Then don't buy this phone! The hardware is beautiful and simple but the internal software is clunky and has serious privacy concerns. KaiOS is a progressive software company that aligns themselves with various ideologies that does not have your best interest in mind.

DO NOT BUY
One the very lousiest phones I have ever seen! Processor is way to slow to process a thing! It qualifies well for a toy phone!

Major Software Issues
While this phone is indeed rugged, the KaiOS operating system is essentially a joke. It's almost unbelievable to me that in 2020 basic phones are slower and glitchier than one from, say, 2009 (remember basic phones even had early browsers back then). We're talking about waiting several seconds when you're searching or calling contacts, sending texts, using apps, etc. Again, with a good predictive texting you can type at least as fast as on a touch screen, but there are TONS of super common english words that aren't loaded, so you have to switch texting mode and do it manually, then switch back. That's not to mention the actual glitches. About 6 weeks into owning the phone and certain words I'm texting just mutate into nonsense once I finish the word, and several times the phone has just freeze or block me out of essential apps like contacts.Again, I want to emphasize that THESE PROBLEMS ARE NOT JUST THE BASELINE LIMITATIONS OF A BASIC PHONE. For years basic phones were faster and offered most of the same features as this phone does. I don't know if it's just that they don't invest money and energy into developing these anymore or what, but if there are any basic phone developers reading this, there's a market out here for quality basic phones...
