JUST FOR MEN Touch of Gray, Salt & Pepper Look, Black T-55 (1 Pack)

LADIES, don't let the name fool you! This Is NOT Just For Men.... it works great for women as well and there's nothing on the market for us that easily covers the white crown that appears around temples and sides. I was tired of dying my hair and after three attempts to grow out my hair, I finally succeeded and stopped dying it. My hair was a very nice salt and pepper but mostly pepper. I love it and get a lot of compliments but I did not like the white crown that appeared from my ears and all the way up around my temples to my other ear. I was uncomfortable pulling my hair back because of the stark white border which made me feel older. My brother has been using Just For Men and suggested it to me to try. I just wanted to blend in this white crown to match the rest of my hair but since my hair is shoulder length I was concerned that I would see a distinct line where I stopped applying the dye or that it would just get darker and darker every time I applied it. BUT I had nothing to worry about! This stuff is amazing and flawless!! I don't know how they do it but it miraculously Blends in with no lines, no darkness or spots, You can't mess it up and it's so easy to apply. And I am the only one who knows that I've touched up my hair, which I do every 6-8 weeks. It Blends so flawlessly and easily. I know it sounds like I'm getting paid to write this review because I'm so impressed with this product but I can assure you that I didn't receive a dime. I am just totally impressed and happy with the results that I needed to let the ladies know that there is something out there for us and they should give it a try if they have the same problem that I do . Literally 5 minutes, as the package says, shampoo out and you're good to go. I LOVE IT!! So sorry men, but I think they should change the name. Because it's great for women also.. At one time there was something on the market called Grecian Formula for women but there's nothing currently available for women that works as good as this. Do not use the applicator! This tip is for men as well. I apply it with an old toothbrush and it's much easier and the tube last so much longer. And one last note....Just for Men sales is missing out on a huge Market! I was a little nervous trying Just For Men Touch of Gray, but from the moment I applied it, I was impressed. The comb applicator makes it so easy to get even coverage without making a mess, and the instructions are clear enough that I didn’t have to guess anything. I chose the Black T-55 for a subtle salt-and-pepper look, and it blended perfectly with my natural hair without looking harsh or fake. The formula felt gentle and didn’t irritate my scalp, which is always a concern with hair dye. After a couple uses, I’ve noticed my hair looks refreshed and natural every time I use it. The gray coverage is just right—not too dark, not too light—and it gives me a polished, effortless look that actually matches my style. I love that it’s quick, simple, and consistent, so I can maintain a natural look without frequent trips to the barber. Definitely keeping this kit in my routine—it’s reliable and makes self-touch-ups so easy.

It's easy enough to use, and works fairly quickly but this comes out still very grey. It doesn't "blend" so if you've got patches of greys and blacks you aren't happy with, this won't fix that. It'll shade your grey (sort of a medium grey) and won't touch the darker hairs. My beard was white with black so this just turned the white, to a grey but didn't really do any kind of blended coloration. Probably have to go to a professional and have it done to make it look more natural.

Let's be honest, we all have some level of vanity. Why look 70 in your 50s if you don't have to. Plus there are practical reasons, age discrimination can be a factor in work and personal life. If you're like me, your hair is more salt than pepper and getting more so every year. Just for Men Touch of Gray brings back the "pepper" without turning your hair jet black (which looks really fake once you're over 45 years old IMO). I've been using this stuff for years. If you decide to try it, here are a couple of tips: - Plan to wear a full zipper top or no top during the process. If you try pulling a shirt over your head while the dye is working it will likely get stained. - Use some Vaseline on the skin all around your hairline and ears to prevent staining your skin. - Wear the provided gloves, again to prevent staining of your hands. - Make sure to work the dye in really well everywhere, especially making sure the back of your head gets saturated. - Ignore the short wait time in the instructions, you need to leave the dye in for 20-30 minutes to get a good effect. Don't worry, it will not turn your hair jet black, even if you leave it in too long. - After the wait process, I don't wash out the dye, initially I just rinse it out in the shower and wash my hair next time. I think this helps the dye to set better. - I have relatively short hair and can get 2 applications out of one tube. Just make sure to cap the tube tightly with no air at the top. Air activates the dye. Also rinse out the applicator comb so it can be used a 2nd time. - An application lasts me about 4 weeks as the color fades. I apply right after getting a haircut. If you're sensitive to people noticing, this is a more discreet way of making the change with the haircut as a diversion. If you don't mind your whitening hair, more power to you. But if not, this is definitely worth a try.

Just used for the first time, very easy to use. As advised by others I applied Vaseline along my hairline prior to application and wore the "gloves" that come in the box. No stained skin or nails. Your hair clearly gets darker the longer you leave it in. The 5 minute rule is unclear as it takes a good 5 minutes just to comb/massage it into your hair. When does the timer start? The instructions do not say, but it seems sensible that it would start when its fully applied. The little attached brush works to get the die into your hair but is pretty ineffective at thoroughly combing it through; I used a regular wide-toothed comb to completely comb it through all of my hair. THEN I ran the timer. Rinsed then washed it out and used conditioner, and it looks great. Its black with gray, which is what it was already, just much more so now. I like the result, it will be interesting to see how fast it washes out. I would like to just do touchups where necessary and reserve the repeats for every two months or so. We will see!

I recently used the Just For Men Touch of Gray Men's Hair Color Kit in Black on my husband, who has a mix of 60% white and 40% black hair. I've had positive experiences with this product in the past, but unfortunately, this time, I was left disappointed. My husband has thin Asian hair, but there's a significant amount of it. I used the comb applicator included in the kit, which usually makes the application quite straightforward. However, this time around, it seemed like either the formula wasn't strong enough or perhaps we didn't wait long enough for it to work its magic. The end result was far from what we had hoped for – it barely made a dent in his white hairs. The lack of coverage for the white hairs was quite frustrating. In fact, the difference was so minimal that it's almost unnoticeable. This left us with no choice but to purchase another bottle of the product in the hopes of achieving the desired result. In conclusion, while I've had success with the Just For Men Touch of Gray in the past, my recent experience with the Black shade was disappointing. It failed to effectively cover my husband's white hairs, leaving them virtually unchanged. We'll be giving it another shot with a second bottle, but I can't help but feel let down by the initial results. If you have a significant amount of white hair, you may want to consider other options or consult a professional hairstylist for better coverage.

All I can say is this worked for me. I have a full head of hair for a 67 year old with most of it being gray with a touch of black hair. 80% gray 20% dark, now its more 50 % , 50% balck and gray and I used maybe a little more than 1/2 the tube. I have gotten more than a few compliments. And it looks very natural. About 1/2 the people notice it ans some don't not until I show them before and after. Not only will I use this product again, i just bought my older brother a tube.

Like others have said, I've used this for years with mostly good results. I even would often get multiple uses out of one box if I kept it from the outside air. Back in July I got the three pack and noticed the comb applicator was different but thought maybe that was a good thing because I wasn't impressed with the other design. The first one I opened and used didn't seem the same. It seemed half separated and I didn't notice any black color as I was rinsing it out. My hair looked no different but I still had some leftover color from the time before. Few weeks later the second box was opened and it didn't work either. Tried the third and it was better but not quite the same. Maybe I got an old batch?

Entire front half of head was white while back was pepper and salt. At age of 56 I didn’t want to make it fully black as it will make it awkward. I lightly applied on front portion which reduced 50 percent whiteness. Nobody noticed the change though change was substantial. Next time I fully applied it on entire white area. Still it didn’t turn full black. Nobody is able to identify the change. It lasts long. This was the product I was searching for. It is advisable for whose hair have become fully white

This hair dye is the king for a natural look. I'm almost totally white now, but combing this stuff through my hair once or twice a month creates a natural salt and pepper look (I use the black dye). My daughters say it looks quite natural, and one tube lasts for about 4 treatments. It works best if you keep your hair fairly short and have a haircut before you make an new application.
