Stainless Thread Cap Protector .40 & 10mm 9/16x24 USA Made Glock Sig H&k

I would have preferred black, but that has nothing to do with the product itself. I wasn't sure if these would do what I needed, and I needed three to find out. This was the least expensive way to do that.I purchased them for my .40 S&W Kel-Tec Sub-2000 Gen 2. I removed the front sight and wanted something to cover the threads. Three of these perfectly covered all the threads right to the end of the barrel. I haven't shot it yet so hopefully they stay on tight.

Exactly as described, I use on .40 Glock 22 Gen 4 with Stormlake threaded barrel, comes a bit loose after ~250 rounds but hey, it's better than pinning it in place since it is really a placeholder. Would like to see a nut/wrench formation for tighter fit but does the job it is supposed to do and for a good price.That being said, I assume you have bought a threaded barrel- make sure you get that first and see if it comes with one of these as I bought both together from the same site at the same time (here) and it turns out Stormlake gave me one of these for free with the barrel, so....

Kinda flashy on a black gun but thats why I bought it. I've probably lost 5 black thread protectors over a 3 year period. Hopefully I'll be able to see it when it drops in the grass(and it will). The reason I give it 3 stars is because the inner threads had alot of burrs that had to be removed with a small wire brush. When it first arrived I went to install it without checking the threads and It was as if the threads were full of sand. Very gritty turn. Never had that issue with the 5 previous protectors from hk parts or aac. It's good now but like all the rest it loosens when firing unsuppressed for extended periods of time. Once I lose this one I'll probably get the silencerco protector because it has an o-ring inside.

Good product, Great price. Looks good, no burrs on the threads. Silly to pay more if you don't have too...

Looks great and fits snug. Used a litthe but of blue lock tight to ensure it stays on.
