Kikkerland Photo and Card Holder with 8 Magnets, Black

My mom is 97 years old. She doesn't have a cell phone, a computer or a tablet. She has a large following however, as well as grands and great grands. She gets lots of pictures and cards in the mail and wants to display them, but with frames, there's just not enough surface.Enter the Kikkerand photo cables!! These are just the best! I put them up with a nice silver push pin and immediately took the photos and cards on her nightstand and put them on the cable. Niiiiiiiiiice! The cables themselves are classy with the lovely weighted bottom. The magnets work for folded greeting cards and they look really nice. Plus, we can effortlessly swap out photos as new ones arrive.Moms - great idea for your refrigerator drawings. If I could give these 10 stars I would!

Works well and looks good. A nice way to display photos and children's artwork and easily change those out. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it would be nice if there were more magnets. There are only eight and the cord can hold more than eight photos, etc.. The magnets are tiny...just as stated in the description...but they are very strong. It is difficult to pull them apart from each other because they are so small and strong. So far it's working okay but note that the magnets are strong enough to be magnetized to nails and other hardware in sheetrock.I've had two of these for a year now and I still like the product. I went ahead and ordered more magnets from Total Element website. $12 including shipping and 15% off coupon code. Apex Magnets shipping charge was more than the cost of the magnets so I was glad to find the same magnets on Total Element. Hopefully, they will be the same size as the magnets that came with the holder. I ordered 1/4"x1/16" size as recommended by another reviewer.

I recently started a new job and admired a new coworkers pictures that he had on some sort of string that looked like something you might see ina home magazine. The next day I came in to one on my desk. Basically this is some sort of magnetic wire that will hang straight down and it comes with 8 or so very small magnets that will hold your pictures to the wire. Very simple, very cool. I immediately came to Amazon and bought 3 more...one more for myself and then one for each of two new coworkers that had started. So now our whole team has these very cool pictures displayed and we all get to see a little piece of each other's life every day. I think they hold 8 pictures each and I used 4x6 photos that I just printed from home. I don't know if the magnet would hold a 5x7 straight but you could probably use two. The line will actually fit probably 10 photos but I don't see where you can buy extra of those little magnets. Great idea, great price, cool gift to give and to receive.

I had one of these before and was incredibly happy with it but it was lost in a move. This one is a little different, though, and the magnets aren't strong enough to hold a Christmas card through both layers (previous one could easily do so). I don't know if it's because the cable is coated with black plastic (a nice feature) or the smaller gauge of cable, but this just doesn't quite accomplish what I wanted from it. That said, I am still considering giving one as a gift and I'm certain the recipient will be very happy with it.

Love this item! I was looking for a unique way to hang pictures. First off let me tell you that I have a tendency to over analyze before I purchase an item - I read all the reviews - good and bad. I have no idea what the bad reviews are talking about. They start to talk about their photos curling, which has nothing to do with this product. This product works great and looks great. The magnets hold the pictures fine. I get prints from an online photo printer and knowing the weights are small (but strong) I have only used 4 x 4 or 4 x 6 photos. Will they start to curl? Maybe. But this item gives me the opportunity to change out the pictures easily and whenever I want.

this is the most wonderful idea to keep your pictures together especially if you are dealing with small spaces. It looks beautiful, mine hangs next to my bwd and puts a cheer on my face every morning.However like the few other reviews I have to agree it falls down and I have lost two magnets already (been less than 2 weeks) also i wish there was another loop so i could just plug it on another holder rather than hanging it.nevertheless I am happy with the product will probably get one more

The weight is not quite weighty enough, and it could use a few more magnets with the shipment, but other than that it's pretty good. I have one hung near a door and it kept getting flipped around from the "gust" when closing the door (interior door, there is no real gust to speak of). I simply put a tack near the bottom of the string to hold it on though and that works well enough. Given the imperfections in the product it seems a bit expensive though.

Great for cards too! If you don’t have shelf or table space to display cards of photos this is your answer. I have ten of these and I use them to display kids’ artwork, you name it. Only beef is the magnets could be stronger. I got bigger, stronger ones at Lee Valley.

I came across these as a way of displaying photos or other paperwork at home. This is an excellent example of them (I own others). The length of cable is 150cm long and comes with a firm loop at one end for hanging; the other end is weighted. It comes with eight strong magnets that can easily hold three pieces of paper without slippage. I would definitely recommend!

Exactly what I was expecting.

We already had three of these and find them so easy and simple to use. The little magnets hold on to the cards very well.
