does this dry the ear canal as well as clean it

Hi Yes it does as the alcohol base evaporates and leaves behind a fine film of boric acid which helps to keep the ear dry and problem free.

What is the measurement of the bottle

It holds 50ml of ear treatment. The bottle is 3" high and has a girth of 4.5" with a screw off cap and nozzle measuring 1.75" Mine came from Peake Pet Care on Amazon. It really works and my dog finds it soothing.

can this be used on cats too?

Sorry dont know about cats but found not very good for my dogs ears in the end got some cleaner from vets cheaper too and find that works well for my dog

Can anyone say what are the chemical contents of this solutio .my dog is currently on Surolan but this is prescription only and I’d like to use compar

Surolan is an antibiotic for infection. Quistel is fantastic for preventing the infection ! I use it 1-2 times per week to gently clean the ear - Just a soaked cotton pad and wipe around. Highly recommend - ALL NATURAL PRODUCT ❤️
